It was 3rd day when my wife and I are hiking KUMANO KODO. After 6 and half hour hiking and 20 minutes bus, we arrived at Watarase Onsen Hotel Sasayuri around 5pm. At checking counter, we found that I booked wrong day - one day late….. However service person rearranged room and dinner for us within less than half hour. Their traditional Japanese service and food are amazing and forgettable. I will be for sure coming back when I revisit this area.

熊野本宮是温泉之鄉，這裏包括湯之峯温泉、川湯温泉、渡瀨温泉，比起大名鼎鼎的川湯温泉，我們預訂的渡瀨温泉酒店，在一個小山坳裏，更小眾，更安靜。酒店一共三層，每層也就10個和洋室，我們下午1點多到酒店，沒有常規的被告知3:00後才能入住，很熱情的幫我們辦理入住，介紹泡湯規則。房間很大，雙床+榻榻米，面對河岸，窗外就是櫻花。
這裏一共有兩個酒店、四個湯池，都可以泡，這裡有西日本最大的大露天風呂和日本屈指的家族專用貸切露天風呂。
晚餐提供的料理非常精緻，早餐也很精緻。

地理位置很不錯，本宮大社門口乘坐酒店穿梭巴士很快抵達。酒店是標準的日式温泉酒店，儘管有些年代，但不會覺得很舊。爬了一天的熊野古道中邊路，在酒店裡泡泡熱湯真的非常舒服。住這裏也一定要選一泊二食，晚餐和早餐非常豐富，是近年來吃到的很棒的温泉料理。熊野古道本宮大社附近温泉酒店的最佳選擇，推薦入住！

1。每天有免費的接駁車到 發心門王子 和 本宮大社。另外，前台可免費安排接駁車，從酒店送至巴士站
2。可以請前台安排將大件行李寄送到下一個旅館 （距離太遠的旅館可能需要付款一點費用，距離很近的酒店免費）
3。可以請前台準備午餐盒
4。家庭的私湯，非常乾淨舒服，沒人的時候，可以要求一人一間
