Lapland Hotels Tampere

We stayed overnight in Tampere after a long cycling trip to unwind. Lapland hotels are often my choice for a staycation / mini vacation in Finland, as they aim for high quality and good customer experience. This time was no exception. We asked for a silent room and got a nice room on the 7th floor, with a sauna (as booked). As it turned out, this room type (Northern deluxe sauna) is also a family room with a connecting door option (obviously otherwise locked) to the next room, and that connecting door is not sound proof. After listening to some long phone calls from next door, I decided to ask the receptionist if there was anything they could do. They were happy to help and we got a silent room on the same floor, no sounds whatsoever (the Northern deluxe room type, if you were wondering, so no sauna, but there are hotel saunas on the 8th floor for everyone to use). The hotel restaurant was excellent for dinner (we took it to the room for a tv dinner). And the breakfast was perfect, containing everything we wanted with great execution. By the way, the iPhone screen mirroring worked with the room’s flat screen tv with no hassle whatsoever, something I’ve learned to appreciate as it seems to be impossible for some hotels to get working (however, this will not work in all the rooms apparently, so confirm before, or book a deluxe room, if this is important for you, too). All in all this could have been a stressful visit (because of the noise) if not for the great service. Now we’re sure to book again and warmly recommend Lapland hotels Tampere for everyone.

It was a lovely stay! The hotel was great and service great! The only compliant I would have is that room service didn’t clean the tub.

A decent place to stay overnight. Nothing to complain about. A decent place to stay overnight. The hotel room was modest. I would have appreciated at least a minibar and a safe, but the room was clean and a good enough place to sleep, though nothing more than just a place to sleep. However, the customer service was really nice—perhaps smoother, friendlier, and better than the average Finnish service, so big points for that. The lobby area, small restaurant, and bar were pleasant in design, and the food was fine, not luxurious, but good and cozy for a hotel restaurant. The breakfast was clearly above Finnish average. The hotel's location is good and really close to the city center, though a bit tucked away. I can recommend it if you're on a business trip or want something relatively affordable and peaceful in Tampere near the center, and the nightlife spots aren’t far either. The hotel itself isn't luxurious, but there's really nothing to complain about.

Clean and stylish place, room was nice and quite big, love the lapland theme. Breakfast is amazing, very good quality ingridients. Also the service at breakfast was friendly. Bad things were the service at reception which was not very friendly and small bathtub in your room. Also the parking garage was terrible, parking spaces were very narrow.
