I recomnend this place to stay! If you want to plunge into the nature it is the Best place ever. It is the right place to linger and marvel at the beauty of its surroundings.

Loved out stay in Bayfront Resort! A very private beach, which we felt is one of the best in Khao Lak. The seaside bungalow offered a great vantage point and (of course) convenient access to the sand. There were some older wooden walkways that clearly could use some TLC, but service staff were super hospitable and friendly, and the main Khao Lak town strip is just ten minutes by foot, or 100ish thb for a taxi. Slightly upgraded breakfast options (especially vegetarian friendly) would be appreciated for our next stay here, but overall we were very satisfied.

Price/value for this hotel is absolutely fine. A little bit outdated the amenities, room is clean and the staff friendly.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel! I'm still here, we're leaving on 12/05. There's something to compare it to. We've been eyeing this hotel for a long time, and we made the right choice. It's very compact, surrounded by greenery and flowers. A pond with huge fish, I've never seen anything like them. Its own sunbathing area with wooden loungers, tables, mattresses and umbrellas. Great breakfasts! New dishes every day! Everything is delicious! They constantly refill if something is over. The fruits are ripe, delicious, cut into fancy shapes, very beautiful ❤️ The staff is always friendly and smiling! 🫶🏻🙏🏼 Daily, excellent cleaning of the room with replenishment of towels, water, gel, shampoo, conditioner, change of linen. You feel like a needed guest. Thank you very much for leaving warm feelings about the holiday, we will definitely come back 😍

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful place! The rooms are comfortable and cozy. Wooden floor, which is very nice and rare for hotels by the sea. At first, I was a little surprised by the location of the wardrobe and the area with the refrigerator and kettle in the bathroom, but it turned out to be quite convenient. The hotel is not new, but everything works, it is clear that they are doing minor repairs, changing the lamps, etc. They maintain cleanliness and working condition. The mattresses are hard, we liked it. The territory is very green and blooming, monitor lizards are walking around). The breakfast is standard, everything is tasty, fresh. There is not much variety, but in our opinion it is not necessary. The beach is beautiful! During our stay there were big waves, so we did not swim much, the pool was enough. The pool, by the way, is very good, clean and comfortable for both adults and children. To the main street either on foot about 10 minutes (to the beginning of the shops and restaurants) along the road (there is a sidewalk), or on a songthaew, the price from the hotel is 200 baht, from the center from 100, as you agree, even the same taxi drivers quote different prices). You can walk along the beach and then go up to the road. But keep in mind that during high tide some places are difficult to pass or impassable, you will have to go through other hotels. I sincerely recommend the hotel to those who want to relax in a quiet and picturesque place, but within walking distance of the shopping area.

Nice chalet

Great environment for this hotel that is placed almost at the end of the long beautiful beach and with direct access to the beach. The hotel has an overwelming variety of trees, flowers and bushes that makes you feel happy. The massage at the hotel is so good that you have to try it. There are two nice pools. A shower to rinse your body from the sea salt. The sea is so nice and blue with nice waves but not every day. The staff is kind and helpful. Breakfast if very good with a lot of fresh fruits and so many other choices. We Walker to the center of Khao Lak an sometimes got a cab for 100 THB for one way to or from the hotel. Lots of nice restaurants, shops, a big market, multiple choices for renting a motorbike which we did. The parasols are old and need to be changed although they are still working properly. There should be a rule for the choice of strand beds as some guests would place their beach towells on the beds from early morning an d leave them to late evening, even when they are not there for hours. We had a really great time staying at this hotel.

Stayed here for 6 nights in April 2025. Overall, for a 3 starred hotel it exceeds expectations. The rooms are "Thai style" and a bit dated, but they were very well kept and clean. I stayed in a deluxe room with a front patio (see pictures) and would happily stay in this room again. The hotel grounds are nicely manicured and lush. The pools are nice with one quieter one situated a bit set back and another larger one overlooking the beach front. In between the pools are a restaurant and bar with only slightly higher prices than you will find at outside restaurants and bars. Food and drinks can be taken by the pool, beach, or in the room. For me, the real star of the show here is the very well kept beach. No garbage to be seen, clear, relaxing water, and stunning sunsets. The staff were always friendly and willing to help with any questions or requests. The only real downside for me was that 99% of the other guests were from Germany and most didn't seem to speak English (or want to) 🤔 so my wife and I felt a little bit isolated. Not much the hotel can do about this though obviously. In terms of location there is not much within walking distance so you need to rely on the (overpriced) taxis or rent a motorbike if you want to visit outside restaurants, bars, and shops. Overall, I was satisfied with my time here and would stay again.

Great Beach Hotel is good value for money, staff are very good. Had a good time and please book the Beach Front Bungalows. The walk along the Beach at low Tide is good fun and you can sit somewhere and have Sundowner. Also you should go in the evening to the Boo Boo Show it was very good.

This place is horrible. In the middle of nowhere. The room is big but there is no table, no bath. You enter the room via patio door. No privacy as anyone can look into your big windows, so you have to use curtains 24/7. There are only 3 English speaking tv channels, all news. Breakfast is disgusting from sweet bread, poor quality ham to over salted noodles. Not only do not choose this hotel but think twice if you want to come to khaolak in first place
