My family and I changed about 3-4 hotels on our Taiwan trip this time and this hotel impressed us the most. Huge beds and clean interior. Really pleasant staffs as well. Only weird quirk was not providing some form of hand soap. Still, a 10/10 hotel and there isn’t any place I’d rather stay the next time I visit Taichung!

The hotel is definitely not a 5 star in terms of service and cleanliness. The service is not good : no check in before even if the room is ready, no presentation of the different services provided in the hotel and staff wasn’t that helpful. The location is not that great but it might just be the city. Not that many busses get there, lots of walking and not that many things to do nearby.

We were given a larger room than booked so it can be considered an upgrade. The view from the hotel room was decent and the hotel is located near Taiwan boulevard so it was easy to get ride hailing and taxis. The neighbourhood is easy to get around and there are enough amenities.

Receptionists were nice and friendly, helpful in ordering transportation for us. The location of the hotel is central within the city, it's so convenient to get to the city centre's attractions.

The hotel has many room type, when booking need to be careful.
The hotel gives me a free used contactless lens on the small table next to the bed. Looked like the cleaner didn’t clean the table. The hotel staff responded quickly that they will clean up. I guess they just take them out and clean that table only.
My room is quite dark, while my colleague’s room light is ok. Looked a bit new compare to mine. No hand cleaning soap provided. The hotel said it is for environment to not provide kits. But this is for hygiene necessary for health.
