J Resort is in a quiet location with free transport to and from Chishang train station for the guests.

Meh hotel in the middle of nowhere. Everything is worn down, so it won't be as good as on the pictures. If you need a place in that area it's fine, but don't go there on purpose (I've booked this because it was close to the start of a trail in the mountains).

The hotel's exterior is dated and looks like a factory at first glance. It's completely different from the photos on the itinerary! The hallway railings are covered in bird droppings. Check-in is even more unreasonable. The front desk is completely unmanned and is located in the office. You have to self-check in, but you can't enter your name, phone number, or reservation number before a representative comes out to process your request. Is that really that labor-saving? I won't make that mistake again.
