Tainan Wow hostel has a special place in my heart. It's inexpensive and provides all basic necessities. It's unfortunately rather far from Tainan station. But if you're willing to walk a bit, it's still worth a stay. The air-conditioning unit requires cleaning though. Lots of dust in the ducts. The bed frame creaks a fair bit, but nothing too crazy.

The room was quite nice and I enjoyed my stay here. The staff were also very friendly. Highly recommended. Stayed with my family members and everyone had an enjoyable time here.

Our Originally booked room had an issue come up, they proactively called us to resolve the issue and get us into new rooms. The effort to resolve the issue quickly and before we arrived was appreciated. Besides the rooms are great quality for the price, with a convenient location and good public amenities.

I stayed at Wow Hostel in Tainan and had a great experience. The location is super convenient—right near Tainan Station, so it’s easy to get around. The hostel is clean, modern, and has a really cozy vibe.
The staff were friendly and gave helpful tips about local spots to visit. I stayed in a dorm room, and it was comfortable with privacy curtains, personal lights, and lockers.
There’s a shared kitchen and lounge area that’s perfect for relaxing or meeting other travelers. Overall, it’s a great budget-friendly place to stay in Tainan. I’d definitely come back!

Great location, but a bit far from Tainan TRA station and. Near the famous tourist spot you can go many places by walking tour. There is a Sushi restaurant opposite the hotel the owner was so nice and food are the best in taste and price!

The location is perfect, you can walk to the main attractions. Also, it's so convenient for public transport (buses and trains).
The room was fine, the bathroom had mould and there was a water leak under the sink, they sorted that out leaving a towel on the floor(it wasn't a big leak tho). Didn't have any issues with the noise, there wasn't any during my stay.
The staff didn't give me any information about the city or what to do close to the place(I didn't require either but it'd be nice to be offered it). They were quick sorting out my issue with the sink.
Pleasant stay, I'd recommend it 100%
All the signs are in Mandarin, be aware of that. Google lens can fix that🤓
