Popular Taichung 4-star Hotels

The location is OK, about 10 minutes walk to train station, but not many restaurants nearby. The breakfast is average. There is a coffee maker that you can use 24 hours on the third floor. The city park is just cross the street.

It’s such good value considering what we paid. It’s 5 min from the train station and opposite the famous miyahara shop. Right next door is family mart and left next door is a nice fried chicken place too. What’s more, there’s a dining area where we can eat our food from the night market. It’s fantastic! I would definitely stay there again!

The hotel was not near any train station ao we have to take a taxi from Taichung HSR to the hotel. Check in was smooth and the room was one of the best hotel we have stayed in Taiwan. Very spacious and clean. Comes with bathtub and a TV while you are soaking. We got a very nice room that we are able to see countdown fireworks. Hotel location is good as it is about 5 mins walking dostance to Fengjia Night Market. Walkable to convinence stores and eateries. Highly recommend to stay here.

The hotel itself is very old and some parts definitely need to be refurbished and refurnished. I had issues with the door lock, the staff was exceptionally friendly and helped me fix my issue. The hotel has all necessities I needed as a solo traveler, but you definitely won’t get any luxury here. For short stays and budget, this hotel may be good, because of its incredible location in the city. In just a few minutes you are at the train station. Next to the hotel are 2 convenience stores. The hotel scores in its really friendly staff and its strategic location. However the building and the room is very old, the bed takes time getting used to and definitely needs an overall upgrade!

As usual, this hotel is perfect for my stay. Lots of food choices right when you step out of the hotel. Not too far from Taichung HSR station. They have fitness center on basement floor. Breakfast choices were good!

Airline inn was right beside Sogo and it was just a short drive away fro. The train station. There were 2 coin operated washing machines and 2 driers which was really useful during the summer months. Breakfast was decent and had a large spread of food. Their bath room and sheets were clean. The room was quite spacious and there was a lot of space to open the luggages.

The mid-sized hotel is located just outside the Feng Jia Night Market street so there are ample eating places. The counter staff was very helpful in explaining to us the general policy, breakfast arrangement etc. Facility wise, being a younger brother of the Holiday Inn chain, it is of course not as fully equipped. On the whole I would encourage others to consider this hotel when in Taichung.

Good location Asked for 4 pillows as pillow very low , service staff say can only give 2 Room abit small, city view is see outside solar panel at level 8. Wanted high floor

The room is large and clean, but the first thing I smelled when I turned it on was cigarette smoke (an air purifier is recommended). The air conditioner was very cold (I liked it), but it was a pity that the temperature couldn't be adjusted. Comes with Chinese buffet breakfast

Hotel is located at a great location, nice facilities and good cleanliness in my room. My only feedback is that for people who drive, please be aware. The carpark entrance is at the back entrance of the hotel where the convenience stall is located. This hotel uses an Over Car Bonnet Storage system. We were greeted unpleasantly by the carpark assistant (an old man), not only were we not allowed to unload our luggage before parking, he didn't even bother assisting us with our carriage. To make matters worst, we saw him help another guest on arrival that was behind us at that time, to unload their luggage and give them guidance in parking. On my last day, i was awoken by the hotel staff through the hotel phone. They told me that my car was not parked properly and they could not activate the lever system for the carpark. Yes i would apologize if i have parked off by 2cm outwards, but I was woken up rudely in the morning after a long tiring night before with no apologies whatsoever. A note to future hotel guest, if you intend to have your car parked in the hotel, please be mindful the space is not very SUV friendly.
