"About 10min walk from Taichung Railway Station. It's quite clean and spacious. Noise barrier quite good. Got provide bath towels and hair dryer. Can help you store luggage by the wall opposite of the counter. About $30 a night, very affordable, suitable for solo travellers. Downside: Curtains are very thin, so if you're sensitive to light, sunrise at 5am might wake you up. Don't have a universal socket or USB option, so please bring a universal charger with you. No extra drinking water provided on the last day of stay."

"Twinstar is very near Taichung TRA Station. Buses are also nearby. Malls and Shopping area is also nearby. I felt shortchanged when the photos show the veiw of the Taichung Station and a City View but received a room with wall of the Taroko Mall. The breakfast hall and rooms are a bit underwhelminh in terms of aesthetics, the cleanliness may also be questionable but their staff are friendly and attentive. I find the suppprt staff always available."

"Great location.just a short walk to the night market and surrounded by many great restaurants. The room was spacious and well-equipped, except for some essentials like toothbrush and toothpaste, which they asked us to prepare in advance. I especially loved the big bathtub, much larger than typical one I've been before."

"Good location, it's a vegetarian hotel they only serve vegetarian bfast. What I don't like is the noise of the KTV downstairs, it's really noisy and you can all hear it from your room especially the bass so make sure to read reviews before you book."

"I had a great stay at this hotel! The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, very close to the tai zhung train station and can be found easily. I especially enjoyed the breakfast and the relaxing atmosphere. I’d highly recommend it!"

"My family and I changed about 3-4 hotels on our Taiwan trip this time and this hotel impressed us the most. Huge beds and clean interior. Really pleasant staffs as well. Only weird quirk was not providing some form of hand soap. Still, a 10/10 hotel and there isn’t any place I’d rather stay the next time I visit Taichung!"

"I stayed at this hotel 3 times, the first time I thought it was clean, the cleaning service cleaned the bed and rearranged it, the sheets were all tidied up. The floor was clean, for the 2nd and 3rd stays I was very disappointed, the cleaning service was lazy and careless in tidying up, the sheets and blankets were not clean and were not rearranged, they were left scattered, and the 3rd stay, the cleaning button had been pressed but the cleaning service gave the excuse that there was no green button that we pressed, deliberately not cleaning even though we went out in the morning to go for a walk and we returned to the hotel at 1 pm to rest, and it still hadn't been cleaned even though we had really pressed the green button so it would be cleaned because it hadn't been cleaned, please reprimand the cleaning staff again, check the rooms one by one. because the cleaning service worked carelessly. We were very disappointed!"

"The Lin Hotel in Taichung was conveniently located for my needs, making it easy to get around the city. While the décor feels quite dated and would benefit from refurbishment, the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The breakfast buffet offered a good variety of options, though it was very busy during my stay. Overall, a decent stay with great convenience, but the hotel could do with some updates."

"I feel that Sof have a really good design concept. The open air concept in the walkway to our room , really bring out the special vibe of this hotel. However the amenities is lacking. There was no bidet and toothpaste provided. The location is not perfect as it was the red light district of Taichung. A few of ********** can be found standing clost to the hotel."
