Nice hotel in the heart of the Ma Ti Temple sightseeing area. Very friendly and helpful staff. To reach the hotel by car, you should buy tickets at the entrance of the spot. The hotel has its own restaurant serving typical regional specialties. We recommend visiting the main temple first thing in the morning, at 7:30 a.m., as waiting times increase after 8 a.m., and you can wait up to two hours later. Afternoon is nice for hiking the area, there are a a lot of plank roads available. Pictures are from main temple and hiking.

Location was great. It’s near to the grottoes and you can hike a bit around. Also the restaurant located a bit further provided delicious food.
The staff was in some cases very helpful and kind however, some services were more expensive than discussed. Pretending later on that that was our misunderstanding. Other attention point is that there is no room cleaning, renewing of toilet paper (while we only got an almost used roll) and no proper bad towels. Just the basic things you would expect from a hotel. Tip, bring your own bad towels as they only provide disposable ones.

As always I'll rate the hotel I stayed at relative to the cost incurred. So is it value for money?
Location : The location could not be bettered. It is the closest hotel to the Mati Grottoes. Maybe a 500m walk away.
Service : Very good, very friendly ! Welcoming and efficient on arrival. Took food orders for delivery at lunch and dinner (which helped a lot as in Winter all the restaurants in the village were closed)! And also helped me buy snacks in the afternoon (as the usual stores in the village were closed during Winter).
Bedroom : Basic however with 2 beds (comfortable and clean) and a I really liked the sunny alcove with two seats and a table, to sit and drink tea/coffee (bring your own!).
Bathroom : small but most importantly hot water and plenty of it ! The toilet is Western style not a squat (phew - good for my old knees!)
Breakfast : was provided but as I don't often eat breakfast I can't comment further.
You shouldn't expect a 5 star hotel, it's a basic Chinese hotel so don't get expectations up, however it is great value for money, clean and has everything you'd need for a short stay. I would definitely stay here again !

We had rooms with snow mountain views. The rooms were nicely decorated and came with floor heating. The grottoes and scenic area is also very nice to visit.

Very helpful and friendly. The hotel is in a very good location with magnificent views of the mountains. We slept very well and felt comfortable.
Breakfast is served in a separate building a few doors down, but the food was not particularly suitable for us Europeans.
