Old Colorado Inn

Staff & Service: Staff are frequently commended for their friendliness, attentiveness, and willingness to assist guests. The overall service environment is characterized as welcoming and efficient, though some mention limited staffing during peak times.

Our stay in this historical hotel was amazing. We had reservation for 1 night and added a night so had the pleasure of staying in 2 different rooms. The first was a standard room which was beautifully appointed. The second was the newly renovated Sailfish Suite. I was blown away by the true spirit of hospitality. We were greeted with smiles, staff gave us a brief history of the 1914 hotel, we were escorted to our room and given suggestions for dining in the area. Each room had coffee set up and complimentary waters, the soap amenities were highend. We had drinks and appetizers at the hotel bar. Grace the bartender was very attentive, drinks were delicious and each different drink beautifully garnished. The appetizers were done perfectly and serving dishes were high quality. I can't say enough positive things about this hotel and look forward to staying again. I saw comments about noise I didn't have that issue but Stuart is definately a busy area with lots of bars having live music we stayed Friday and Saturday night and weren't disturbed. A historic hotel is probably not for everyone but it is for me!

From start to finish (and even before we arrived!) our stay was first rate. We had to arrive a day later than expected and Steve could not have been more kind and accommodating. We stayed in the Oasis Cottage and the bed was super comfortable. The cottage itself is very spacious and clean. It's adjacent to a pool which is beautifully maintained. The staff is unmatched in their warmth and hospitality. Everyone with whom we came in contact was terrific. Steve, Ashley, Chris, Minnie and both housekeepers we spoke with were all what every traveler hopes their hosts to be. Chris was even kind enough to call and offer to reschedule the free historical tour that we missed due to our late arrival. I can't say enough good things about the Old Colorado Inn. We will definitely return.
