Very Beautiful place, clean & a lovely atmosphere The breakfast is 10/10 😅🙌 Had a lovely stay Just behind stone town & at the centre of the town great for visit around sorrounding areas They helped us through the visit 👍🙂

The front desk staff was out of this world, he explained to us how to go about town and even gave us advice on how to interact with the locals. The breakfast was exquisite 😋 the rooms are very spacious.

I enjoyed my stay

Highly not recommended! We didn't stay and lost the money we'd paid for our well-advanced reservation. The manager first denied it was the property we'd booked, and after showing us around Stone Town looking for our place, we returned and said it was FULL!!!! We were then bounced to a dilapidated property, claiming it was the same. On the second day, we booked a B&B on our own, losing our money. DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY!!!!

There were no places, although they blocked it, I had to rent in another hotel

I'm not going to rate the Retro Hotel's facilities because I didn't get to see them. We had a reservation, but upon arrival, we were told they were full and were taken to another hotel "owned by the same owners." The hotel in question is Kekele Square, deeper in the old city, above a bar with loud music until 3 a.m. The second hotel was much worse: small rooms, dirty bathrooms, no towels, and in some, the showers didn't work properly and water was leaking everywhere. We asked for a room change, but they didn't offer a solution. Very poor management and not recommended.
