Mizingani Seafront Hotel ★★★★
"The room is quite big, one person can sleep in two beds"
Al-Minar Hotel ★★★
"Stayed at this hotel for two days with my wife ,the hotel stuff were very friendly and helpful made our stay memorable would not mind to stay here when I visit stone town again."
The Seyyida Hotel and Spa ★★★★
"Advantages: Hotel located at the port which allows you to explore the entire old town on foot. The room is nice and spacious and the bathroom was generally clean. The staff is very pleasant. Breakfast is pretty good (especially the egg menu items) and the one dinner we had there was excellent. The view from the rooftop is magnificent. Disadvantages: The neighborhood is very noisy and the room (303) was under the rooftop restaurant so there was a lot of noise until at least 11pm and from 6am in the morning. Even though the bathroom was clean we found 2 cockroaches."
Vivi Cafe B&B ★★
"Same as previous review!"
Dhow Palace Hotel ★★★★
"The location is good. The presidential suite is very beautiful. BUT: 1. Upon check-in, they tried to upgrade us to a regular suite (it's right next to the presidential suite) instead of the one we reserved. They probably hoped we wouldn't notice. 2. We paid the city tax upon check-in. Then, upon check-out, they started asking us to pay it again. They need to get their payment records in order. 3. The breakfast was average, nothing special."
Golden Tulip Stone town Boutique ★★★★
"A bit old"
Mango Restaurant&Apartment Hotel(China) ★★★★
"Excellent! The best Chinese hotel in Stone City. The owner is very helpful and will assist you a lot. They also serve Chinese food."
Princess Salme Inn ★★★
"After our pleasant experience back in 2012, we decided to come back in March 2016. We once again were greeted by courtesy, cleanliness and the crew's welcoming attitude, especially Neema and Juma (who are in charge of the magnificent breakfast served every morning) as well as Gertrude who helped us with internet and our room's safety box. Thanks to everybody for helping me to practice with my beginner level spoken Swahili! I highly recommend this structure to everyone. It's quiet, close to both the town center and the ferry Harbor, very clean, breakfast is rich and the staff superb. Nawashukuru wote! Asante sana!"
Shoki Shoki Hotel Stone Town ★★★
"Close to the airport, which was convenient. However, it's a shame the hotel couldn't prepare a breakfast box for us, even though breakfast was included in the price."

Zanzibar Serena Hotel

Park Hyatt Zanzibar
"good!"
Maru Maru Hotel
"The hotel is clean but the location is not good because at night many outside noise , but I enjoyed their breakfast is good"
Antonio Garden Hotel
"Overall a good hotel located in the center of the old town. If you have a lot of luggage, be prepared for the fact that a taxi will not be able to drive directly to the hotel, as the street on which the hotel is located is a pedestrian street. You will need to walk about 50 meters from the nearest possible taxi stop. Breakfast is a "buffet". Comfortable mattresses and pillows. The bathroom has robes and a foot towel. The shower/toilet were clean with new plumbing. The room also has a TV."
Forodhani Park Hotel
"I don't recommend the hotel, bad service, bad breakfast, noisy. I arrived at 07:00 p.m. and the room was not ready, and they didnt give me any solution or any refund. I wanted to talk with the manager and he never appeared to talk with me. So better go to another hotel, because this one is disgusting in all aspects."
Beyt Al Salaam
"Everything was at the highest levels"
Tembo B&B Apartments

Kholle House
"A beautiful place to stay. Staff wonderful. Would hugely recommend to anyone thinking of staying in Stone Tone. It is fantastic to be able to stay in such a historic and beautiful house."
Al Johari Hotel & Spa
"Good good"
Zanzibar Coffee House
"Great location. The air conditioner was down for a day due to electricity shortage which was hard to bear the heat. Breakfast is amazing. Really recommended"
Emerald Palm
"Although the building was old, it was very well maintained and clean. There was air conditioner in the room and I could borrow a hair dryer at the reception. Staffs were very kind and the breakfast was also good. On the other hand, some things to note- during my stay, there were blackout in the area and I couldn’t use electricity nor water for a few hours. Since it’s not a high class hotel (where they might have a backup power supply), I don’t necessarily expect it, but if you are travelling it’s a good thing to be aware of! But overall, it was a good stay."
Hanaia House
"First of all it was locked as we arrived around 7-8 PM and had to wait for 15 minutes until someone arrived. The last night there was no water insincere the early morning and the power went off with no water and we had to go out without showering. The seven spice restaurant where we had breakfast was generally below average."
