Great
GGuest UserI’m very disappointed that I got asked for my cc and was charged again for the stay plus 150.00 more and don’t know why, I’m going to get in touch with management, this is unacceptable

GGuest UserStayed before our flight back from Austin.
Free shuttle to and from airport which we used after returning the rental car and to get to the airport for the flight.
Lovely hotel, staff were helpful and friendly.
Used the pool at 7.30pm, it is quite shallow but was warm .
Everything was clean, there was a fridge, coffee machine and bottled water in the room as well as usual things like hairdryer and iron.
RRenzhenshuaKasa is located on the 14th, 15th and 16th floors of the entire Amli apartment building. The room is large and the view is great. There is a king size bed in the bedroom and a folding comb bed in the living room. There is a kitchen for cooking, coffee and tea are provided, a washing machine dryer is provided and laundry capsules are provided. Although in down town, it is not noisy and it is convenient to go anywhere. Very close to Trader Joe, you can buy ingredients to cook for yourself, or you can eat in many restaurants nearby. Very suitable for two or three people in the family, must choose next time you go to Austin.

GGuest UserWent on a surprise staycation this weekend for my birthday at the brand new Hotel Magdalena. This place really impressed me- I’m surprised to be the first reviewer. Magdalena is right off South Congress Avenue, but it feels like an oasis all on its own. The whole hotel has a cool retro 70s aesthetic- with the lobby and features of the room like old school lamps and our exposed wood balcony as stand outs. That’s a difficult era to pull off, but I think they did it well. Everyone was warm and friendly at check in, and they had plenty of dog treats for the pooch. Shout out to Ryan at the desk. As far as the room, I loved the blue tile bathroom and our view of the skyline. The bed was a little firm, but we still got a good night’s sleep. As far as COVID, everyone was wearing masks and signs were posted all around the buildings, and I saw staff cleaning public areas multiple times during my stay. They also have time slots (2 hours) for guests to use the pool. I’m guessing this is to limit guest contact. Favorite highlights included the large pool in the middle of the courtyard (heated, with LED lights) and the restaurant, Summer House on Music Lane. The food is out-of-this-world good. If you stay here, have a meal- you won’t regret it. We got the steak and the bass with cocktails. Amazing. Our server, Laura, was knowledgeable and accommodating too. Right off of South Congress, amenities that can’t be beat, and dog-friendly- Hotel Magdalena is a real gem in the heart of Texas. I look forward to staying again!
AAnonymous UserThe decoration of the hotel is very artistic and artistic, the room facilities are average, the comfort level is average, and the air conditioner is very noisy. The breakfast is pretty good, there are many varieties, parking is free, and travel is convenient.
GGuest UserConsistently lovely hotel with consistently good service. The juevos rancheros I ordered and had delivered to my room were incredibly good! And the coffee was nice and strong ….. glad I asked for extra cream and sugars ! Great location near the Arboretum stores and shops at the Domain . Also close to Whole Foods, H‑E‑B grocery store, Gateway movie theater, and lots of good restaurants, many within walking distance.. Large rooms, bathroom stocked with Aveda products. (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, bar soap for hands) was a very nice touch!
The only thing I didn’t like was they have recently started charging for self parking in their uncovered lot ….. I paid $20 on 1/31/24. I don’t like that at all. Just put the price in your room rate and say free parking!
GGuest UserThis company offers no in-site service. It took a total of three requests to get washcloths. The location was great. It was very clean. There was very little place to unpack, no dresser and no where to leave your suitcase open in th bedroom. We had to use the kitchen table to lay out our clothing. Booking through Airbnb.com would probably be a better option. Property is nice.

MMatthewThe room's AC was inconsistent, difficult to find the right temperature.
The room we had was right behind the elevators so it was hard to sleep hearing them going nonstop til 3am.
The bathroom was also extremely dark and hard to even see yourself in the mirror.
