Very Good
BBruce MWould stay again. Great location, close to area famous landmark by walking distance. Room need sound proof due to noise from street and near by park especially on morning. Also room key needed to be updated. Like old style bulk key chain back in the 80's . Great breakfast buffet and enjoy it. Staff are very attentive and helpful. Overall, very pleased with stay.
GGuest UserLocation is basically good but not easy to find shops nearby, Inya lake is just on the opposite side of the road but have to walk long way from the hotel room because the hotel is situated in the inward inlet. There's no water bottle in the room but instead guests have to go to the hallway to use the water server machine, which never gave cold enough water. This is an European hotel and says a lot about eco-friendly or sustainable stuff, but it means downgraded service compared to other hotels run by Korea or Singapore. Breakfast is simply superb and I liked very much. Overall good hotel but it is recommended those who can sacrifice comfort for the sake of some peculiar things like sustainability.
RRYUICHIThe room was clean and the view was great, and the breakfast was satisfying.
The water pressure in the shower was also excellent.
The location is a little far from the city center, but I think it is very reasonable.
I would like to stay here again if I have the opportunity to come to Yangon.
The only downside was that it took a long time to check out.
AAnonymous UserThe Inya Lake Hotel is a bit dated but very well-maintained, quietly situated in a beautiful park. The service is excellent – from the porters to the reception staff (Dan Dan!, Min, and Kaung deserve special mention) to the room service. The breakfast buffet is superb, and the restaurant in general is very good. There's a lovely pool with its own café. You could easily spend days here without ever feeling the need to leave.
KKseniia_tellsNice hotel, a 17-minute walk to Shwedagon Pagoda. Be more selective with your room choice upon arrival, as on the first night, my friend and I were given a ground-floor room with a view of pipes, a single bed, and a narrow toilet. After I requested a change, we were moved to a room one floor up, with two beds and a view of the neighboring rooftops.
The staff are friendly and attentive; they'll help with any extra requests and you can store your luggage for free.
Breakfast is a bit sparse, no boiled eggs, but otherwise, it's decent for an Asian-style breakfast. Be prepared for crows to swoop in on your food if you step away from the table, though the staff are on guard!
MMakkiesThe check-in went real smooth and we enjoyed a good night sleep in the comfortable beds (2 queens) The walls are thin but the view we had was beautiful (room315)
The hotel is 15min. to the airport but quit far from the city centre. A taxi is easy to get. The staff is very helpfull and service is great. Only the breakfast is very basic. For this kind of hotel they could offer at least fresh bread and maybe more choice of egg. Because of our early flight, they prepared a breakfast to go for us.
Overall we had a good stay at Wyne hotel.
ÂÂngelo Vieira Jr.It's a true journey through time, an enchan**ent that takes you to a ship from the year 1920. Several original details, such as a clock, the minibar inside a barrel, the bluetooth speaker that imitates a record player, all the leather furniture. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend it, without a doubt, it was a beautiful experience. The only point of the location is at night, as there is a night market that doesn't seem so safe and, despite being vintage, some small details lack maintenance such as the carpet in the room, for example
GGuest UserThe hotel amenities and cleanliness can be improved with more new furniture amd carpet. The service of the staff is good. The hotel is near to junction city.
MMary HicelleIt was only a short stay, but it was very comfortable and quite near to the airport. I particularly enjoyed the vibes - it looked straight out of a movie! The staff were all helpful, they even packed our breakfast since our flight was early. You can also immersed in the experience of trying traditional tanaka (face cream) at the lobby.
AAnonymous UserThis was another stay for me. The cheapest rooms are so dark, day and night, that it hinders work, so this time I booked the next room category up, which was about 1000 yen more expensive. The room was spacious and bright, though still a little dim at night. It might be a structural issue, simply not enough lights. But upgrading was definitely the right choice. The soundproofing in the room is a bit weak; I could hear sounds from the next room, but since the room was large, it didn't bother me too much. The nearby supermarket was also convenient. The breakfast, while limited in variety, was decent. The staff are great too. Room cleaning is thorough and not skimped on. However, the room being dark and the carpet being worn out and dirty (frayed) even though it's cleaned might be a concern for some.
