The hotel’s kitchen offered a menu that might seem simple at a glance but was satisfyingly delightful upon tasting. Every dish we tried was prepared well, with fresh ingredients and flavors that are comforting yet exciting to the palate. The breakfast, in particular, deserves an extra note of praise for being consistently good, providing a delightful start to our days of exploration. Adding to the hotel’s allure was the inviting swimming pool, serving as a refreshing sanctuary after a day of touring the magical temples and vibrant markets of Siem Reap. During the wet season, the atmosphere around Sala Lodges was even more calming and soothing, with the soft sound of rain providing a comforting backdrop to our stay. I stayed for two nights. Even though I had a reservation, I had to wait to check in. When I finally got to my room, there was a gap under the entrance door where I could see outside. The curtain rod was slanted, and there were three small dead cockroaches near the window. The front desk did change my room, moving me to the one directly below. This new room was decent. However, if I hadn't been with a friend, it would have been quite awkward, as the layout meant you were almost completely exposed when stepping out of the shower. What really surprised me was on the last night. I came back to the room in the evening, with my luggage somewhat spread out, went to dinner, and returned to find clear signs that someone had been in the room (a cake, fruit, and water had been replenished) even though it wasn't for cleaning. It was unsettling that someone entered without permission for reasons other than cleaning. Finally, with little time left for sightseeing, I was made to fill out a checkout survey. When I went back to get my luggage, I was questioned about my negative feedback based on the issues I mentioned above, with a 'Why? Tell us why?' attitude. They offered me an apology and some sweets, but I didn't accept them. It left a really bad taste in my mouth at the end of my trip. I will definitely not stay here again.

I recently stayed at The Aviary Hotel in Siem Reap for 7 nights (Kingfisher Deluxe Room), and it was an overall exceptional experience. Location: The hotel's location is unbeatable. Just a short walk to Pub Street, local markets, and the riverfront. This made exploring the city easy without relying on Tuk Tuks for every trip. Amenities: The pool area is the highlight, with plenty of sun loungers and a relaxing vibe. The Gym, while functional, is quite small and could use some upgrades. Common areas and the lobby are beautifully designed with lush greenery, creating a tranquill atmosphere in a busy part of the town. Room & Comfort: The Kingfisher Deluxe room was spacious and well-appointed. The bed was medium-firm with crisp, clean, sheets, and the towels were satisfactory. One quick note worth mentioning: the toilet is detached from the main bathroom, so you would need to walk across the room to wash your hands. An unusual layout, but manageable. The room would also benefit from a full-length mirror nearby the entrance for those quick fit checks. Service: This is where the Aviary truly shines. The staff from the front desk to housekeeping were outstanding. Special Thanks to Bunron, Samanng, Soury, Vanda, Tola, and especially Miss B. Saren, who went above and beyond to resolve a tricky situation involving a 'lost' phone. Her professionalism and care made a lasting impression. Value: At $100-150 a night, the pricing aligned with other 4-star hotels in the area. What elevates this property to a true 4-star experience is the exceptional service and overall ambiance. Conclusions: The Aviary Hotel offers a perfect blend of convenience, comfort, and hospitality. I would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Siem Reap.

I stayed here for a week and really enjoyed the female dorm room. The common area was spacious, so I never had to worry about not having enough space to organize my luggage. Each bed had a shelf for personal items and a lockable locker, which was very convenient for travelers. My favorite part was the shower and toilet area; they always had pleasant music playing, which I thoroughly enjoyed during my stay.

The location is great, quiet yet central, and there's a large Angkor Supermarket nearby. The service is also quite good and very welcoming. The biggest issue is that the facilities are a bit old and the cement floor makes it feel like the renovation wasn't quite complete.

⭐Professional & Warm I had a wonderful stay at The Palace Indochine Hotel. The rooms were clean, spacious, and beautifully designed. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. The swimming pool was relaxing, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful. It’s a great place for both business and leisure travelers. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

There were almost no insects by the pool. I was surprised. Very clean. Even after checking out, you can still use the pool or shower. It was really helpful for me to be able to use it. All the employees are friendly and have refreshing smiles. The owner I'm from France, so there were a lot of French users. The fried rice for breakfast was also delicious.

We were welcomed with complimentary juice and snacks upon arriving at the hotel. They had a scent reminiscent of Cambodia and were delicious. The room was cozy and comfortable. The hotel offered a variety of tours, which could be booked at the front desk by the day before, making it very convenient. We joined two tours arranged by the hotel, and both were fantastic. The price was also reasonable. Overall, we were very satisfied with both the services and the cost.

The staff at this hotel are exceptionally helpful and attentive. Whenever we required assistance, they promptly responded and regularly inquired if we needed anything further. The breakfast offerings are excellent, and the dining options throughout the menu are also impressive. The swimming pool provides a relaxing environment, and the massage service was particularly appreciated after a busy day exploring Angkor Wat. They also extended a 20% discount on the massage services. Overall, our five-day, four-night stay at this hotel was very satisfying.
