✨ A hidden gem in Taizhou: Fuchen Yin 府城隐 What makes this hotel truly special is its incredible story — a beautiful transformation from an old 财神庙 (temple of the God of Wealth, so yes… extra good fortune vibes 😉) and a historic printing factory into a serene luxury retreat. Tucked away in a quiet residential alley and accessible by buggy, the hotel feels like a secret escape from the busy world. The moment you step inside, you feel a sense of calm. The rooms are thoughtfully designed with generous spaces to unwind, relax, and simply enjoy the moment. My favourite corners? The library, where I spent time getting lost among the books, and the piano area, where I happily played a few tunes. These little details made the stay feel more like a home away from home rather than just a hotel. The breakfast was an absolute highlight — a celebration of Taizhou’s local flavours. I loved discovering so many regional specialties: 🍵 青草糊 — a refreshing grass jelly dessert with a wonderful touch of peppermint that made it even more refreshing 🍜 姜汤面 and 芋头面 — comforting local noodle dishes 🍰 三色糕 🍚 乌饭麻糍 (with red bean filling) 🥟 扁食 …and so many more delicious local treats that I wish I had a bigger stomach! They even helped me buy the famous 海苔饼 — the whole reason I came to Taizhou — and it arrived piping hot. Truly the kind of thoughtful service that makes a trip memorable. The hotel facilities are exceptional. From the beautifully designed spaces to the thoughtful amenities, everything has been carefully considered. The bed deserves a special mention — probably one of the most comfortable hotel beds I’ve ever slept in. They also provide turndown service, luxurious toiletries, and a complimentary minibar (which, by the way, included local rice wine 🍶 — just saying 😉). A huge thank you to every member of the Fuchen Yin team for making my stay so warm and memorable. The combination of history, design, local culture, incredible food, and heartfelt hospitality makes this one of the most unique stays I’ve experienced. How do I even put this amazing trip into words? I’m an exchange student studying Chinese in Hangzhou, and I was totally hooked after seeing photos of Shenxianju’s breathtaking scenery online. I searched a lot of hotels and homestays near Shenxianju, but here’s the thing—most hotel staff couldn’t speak English. That’s when I found this homestay! The front desk team was so friendly, answered all my questions in English, and even took my special requests super seriously. Once I got there, I was blown away: the place was quiet and peaceful, and the room was spotless. Every staff member was warm and welcoming—whatever I needed, they had my back right away. The front desk attendants were always there when I called. At night, I got to stare up at a sky full of stars and really feel nature’s magic.oh,and their food? Really Delicious! And it’s so close to Shenxianju Scenic Area—only a 15-minute taxi ride! If you’re looking for a great homestay experience like I was, this one comes with my highest recommendation!

The hotel is right by the old Zhexi Street in Tiantai. After arriving at Tiantai Mountain Station by high-speed rail, the hotel thoughtfully provides a free shuttle service. The moment I arrived in Tiantai, I had a great feeling. The distant mountains stretched endlessly, and the water was a vibrant green. The old street seems to be a retro district built along the banks of the original stream, but with its pavilions, waterside structures, ocher stones, and the winding, cascading stream, the giant stepping stones spanning both banks, and the ocher-colored rock slopes peeking out of the water, it's a very well-designed area. Xi Ye (the hotel) is located right on the bank in the core area. Just a few steps to the right is Rong Xiaoguan, to the left is Starbucks, and diagonally opposite is BaWangChaJi. As soon as you enter the hotel, the whole world seems to quiet down. A huge floor-to-ceiling window overlooks a lush green view. There's a pond with koi fish swimming, and two or three clusters of azaleas blooming. The design of this hotel immediately captivated me. Entering the room, it was a spacious 50-60 square meters, with welcome snacks, a minibar, afternoon tea, turndown service with a late-night snack, Le Labo 33 toiletries, custom boat-shaped slippers, a black hotel-branded canvas bag, and even a small wooden prayer bead bracelet. All these details spoke volumes about the hotel's thoughtfulness. I will definitely come back. I love Xi Ye, and I loved the two local eateries I tried; it felt like every chef there was a hidden master, with every dish full of deliciousness and surprises. I came to stay at Xi Ye for Guoqing Temple, and for Xi Ye, I'd be willing to come to Tiantai again next time.

This duplex loft room is completely a dream villa in the city ～🌟 🏡 Private space upstairs: spiral staircase to a warm bedroom! Lying on the bed like lying in marshmallows, the smart projector moved the theater into the room. What's even better is the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows. The feeling of being awakened by the sun in the morning is too healing! 🛋️ Downstairs life aesthetic: The high living room is completely my ideal type! The sofa is equipped with carpets, the separate bathroom is very dry and wet, and the shower gel is my favorite white tea fragrance! The most surprising thing is that there is also a mini freezer with four bottles of happy water to drink! 🍹 Details control ecstasy: There are surprises hidden in every corner! The smart toilet seat is warmed up in advance, and the bathrobes and slippers are neatly arranged in dust bags! This stay truly exceeded my expectations, a definite five-star review! The room was clean and tidy, with complete and new facilities. The bedding was so comfortable that I slept incredibly well. The front desk service was warm and attentive; both check-in and check-out were quick, and they were very responsive to any requests. The hotel's location is convenient, making travel and dining hassle-free, and the overall environment is quiet and comfortable. It offers excellent value for money. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit and highly recommend it to everyone!

We came to Tiantai Mountain specifically to stay somewhere close by, and this Ramada by Wyndham Tiantai hotel perfectly fit the bill. It's only about a three to four-kilometer taxi ride from both Guoqing Temple and Tiantai Mountain. The room itself was quite spacious, and the view from the window was expansive. The lobby on the first floor offers health-preserving teas, and the breakfast selection was also very rich.

Choosing this hotel for my business trip to Taizhou was a great decision and saved me a lot of hassle. The front desk staff, particularly Xiao Yang, was very patient. The hotel also offers a free pick-up service from the station, so I could just hop on the car directly without having to drag my luggage around and find my way, which was a real lifesaver on a hot day. The hotel's common areas are very clean; the lobby and hallways are bright and inviting. The breakfast was also good; while the selection wasn't huge, the quality was excellent, and I left feeling satisfied. There's also a self-service laundry room, which is really practical for guests staying multiple days. Overall, my stay was very comfortable and I have no complaints.

Amazing value for money! The room was spacious and bright, with complete and practical facilities that easily rivaled chain hotels. The complimentary drinks were also fantastic! The soy milk at breakfast was really good, clearly freshly made and not powdered, and the freshly cooked mini wontons were great too.

The cleaning lady kept the room very clean and provided excellent service. There were also fruits and massagers in the evening. The sleep was very quiet. As soon as I entered the room, I felt very comfortable and felt like I was at home.

The decoration style of the room is consistent with the picture. I like it very much. The various facilities are beautifully arranged. The sanitation is very clean, so you can stay at ease. The B&B is located inside the scenic area. There is a parking lot at the entrance of the scenic area, and there are sightseeing buses to pick you up and drop you off. Xiao Yu at the front desk is very enthusiastic and gives people the feeling of reuniting with old friends. The whole check-in process is pleasant and reassuring. The B&B is very close to major tourist attractions. The transportation is convenient. It is recommended as the first choice for travel. I will come again next time.
