The staff member who handled the situation spoke politely but showed no real attitude, assuming that once I checked out, the hotel was no longer at fault. The doctor already said the reactions occurred at different times, and besides, two people experienced vomiting and diarrhea that very day, and the vomit smelled of red velvet – doesn't that prove the problem? Ctrip customer service was very helpful and kept communicating with the hotel. They offered to give me a free night's stay – thank you! I will definitely never stay at this hotel again. Five people got sick from the food; how could I dare stay there? Food safety and hygiene are a red line and a bottom line!"
