MM488522****The stay experience was great! The hotel is in a good location, a few minutes walk to the subway station, the surrounding dining and convenience stores are complete, and the travel is super convenient. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, the sound insulation was very good, and the sleep was very stable. The front desk service was warm and thoughtful, check-in and check-out were very fast, and local travel suggestions were also provided. The breakfast is rich in variety, combining Chinese and Western, and the ingredients are fresh. The only small shortcoming is that the shower water pressure is slightly weaker, but the overall experience does not affect. I will choose this hotel next time, highly recommended!

Location: it's walking distance to the entrance of Confucius Temple, it's a plus point. And it's at big intersections, so access-wise, the location is good. Cleanliness: great but could be improved as i still found the carpet and floor dusty Service: all receptionists were so helpful and friendly. they tried their best to communicate with non Mandarin speakers. Also, my deepest gratitude to MiaoMiao for her service. She even accompanied me to the restaurant next door to help me ordering some food. Such hospitality really moved me :”) Food: breakfast was great. didn't expect it to be varied but it was. from congee to salad, bread to rice, they got options. Tasted pretty good as well. They also gave a plate of fruits (tomatoes, bananas, orange) and were generous with bottled water

all the staffs are all very friendly. the front desk, housekeepers, and the staffs in the restaurant. the variety of food in the breakfast spread was good. I especially like the complimentary fruit tray provided every afternoon and light porridge every night. the hotel was very understanding and had offered to change my room due to the leakage from the heavy rain. as I did not request for the change, I was impressed that they had try to accommodate thou running on full occupancy. I was impressed by the hotel teamwork n unity. the team worked together to block the flood from entering from the main gate by stacking the sand bags, they worked tirelessly in the heavy downpour and overcoming the flood. I didn’t stay long, because it was my business trip but overall the hotel was pretty nice. I loved the design, both lobby and the rooms. My room was spacious and clean, everything needed was there! 4 bottles of water. AC for heating worked fine. The hotel takes deposit while check in. In general, I would recommend this place.

Older hotel, but still in pretty good condition. Nice quiet location. Breakfast OK. Must have the strongest coffee in China. Still, hotels providing toast without butter or margarine is a bit of a bugbear of mine, but a minor problem nonetheless. Shout out to the staff at this place who were all attentive, helpful and wonderfully pleasant. This hotel is about 1500m due South of the old town South Gate. To get to the hotel from the fast train station, take bus K01 (¥1) and get off at Datong Lu. Turn right for a hand made noodle restaurant at the intersection. Across the road is a popular McDonald's, and downstairs from that is a fully stocked supermarket. The 'san kong' sights start at the South Gate where you buy your thru ticke int. The temple and mansion are very interesting, and expect crowds. ¥7 for a Didi to the South Gate. The cemetery where 100k Kong people are buried is worth a look for the Confucius burial area. This area is only a 500m walk from the entrance. The whole wooded area is large, but you can skip the bus tour as they only stop at the main site anyway, and drive like Fangio through the rest. A slow three wheel open trike cost ¥10 back to the hotel

The staff at Zie Yu Manju hotel were absolutely wonderful. Very welcoming and helpful, we had an amazing stay here and can definitely recommend the hotel and restaurant to any traveller. They happily organised our visits to local attractions at great discounts. My wife and I would definitely stay here again.
