Below there is a 2-bedroom apartment with separate access that is rented separately. We are minutes away from restaurants in West Dover and Wilmington, as well as Mt Snow and Stratton ski resorts. Green Mountain National Forest offers some of the best terrains for hiking and mountain biking in the northeast. The house is officially situated on one acre but we back up to national park land so feel free to roam the backwoods for as long as your legs can sustain you. The home and grounds are available for your enjoyment!Guest Access • Guests will have access to the main part of the house, consisting of entry through the front door, a full kitchen, living area with fireplace, an open concept kitchen, master suite on the main floor with three bedrooms and bathroom on the floor above. Guests may also enjoy private access to the wrap around deck. Below there is a 2-bedroom apartment with separate access that is rented separately. Interaction with Guests • Keys will be left for you and we will always be available via email, text or phone.Ski Resorts • Mt Snow ski resort is a 1 mile drive or The Moover is Dover’s free shuttle service that brings you directly to and from the mountain during the winter season. Additionally, there is a private groomed ski-home trail from Mt Snow that comes to Bears Crossing. Stratton ski resort is a 25 minute drive from the house.Hiking • The Green Mountain National Forest is a great place to hike around and explore Haystack Mountain Trail. The Harriman Reservoir is a short 30 minute drive and is a great place to enjoy kayaking and lakeshore hiking. Green Mountain Den - 4+ person , 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment located on the lower level of the Green Mountain House with its own private entrance. ** PLEASE BE AWARE: this is a basement apartment to The Green Mountain House. While it is very private, with its own entrance, you can hear loud footsteps and muffled noises from the unit above, if it is occupied. They cannot hear you. However, it may not be a good fit for small children or light sleepers.**During the ski season, the apartment includes a ski-back trail (conditions permitting) and shuttle to and from Mt Snow (winter weekends and holiday). In the warmer months, the club house has a pool, tennis court, gym, pool table, and fire pit/bbq area.The Green Mountain Den is a place to drop your bags, kick off your shoes, slow down, and let your mind disconnect.
