Great
DDeeRFOur stay at this inn in Puerto Princesa truly exceeded my expectations. We arrived from a long trip, and even before we could get off the van, a staff member was already there to warmly welcome us and assist with our luggage. That small gesture immediately set the tone for the kind of service they provide—attentive, proactive, and genuinely caring.
Since it was only a short stay, I didn’t expect much at first. But the level of hospitality we experienced was nothing short of exceptional. The staff were consistently courteous, accommodating, and made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay.
It’s rare to come across a place where service feels this personal and effortless. They made us feel well taken care of from the moment we arrived until we left. I would definitely recommend this inn to anyone visiting Puerto Princesa, especially if you value warm and reliable service.
GGuest UserSuper na-enjoy ko ang stay ko sa Hollywood Hotel Puerto Princesa! From check-in hanggang check-out, very accommodating and friendly ang staff. Ramdam ko talaga yung warm welcome at excellent customer service nila. 😊
Malinis at maayos ang room, very comfortable ang bed, and cozy pero classy ang ambiance ng hotel. Perfect for solo travelers like me who want peace and comfort.
Highlight din ng stay ko ang experience sa Sir KC’s Bar and Restaurant. Masarap ang food, generous ang servings, at maganda ang presentation. The drinks were also great, and relaxing ang vibe—perfect for unwinding after a long day. 🍽️🍹
Convenient din ang location since malapit sa airport and other key areas in Puerto Princesa.
Overall, sobrang worth it ang stay ko. I will definitely come back and highly recommend this hotel! 🌴✨
AAnonymous UserThere's a direct road from the airport to the city center. They offer a shuttle service, but it's not free; it costs 100 pesos one way. I tried to book a shuttle (they showed me a QR code and told me to book through it), but the service hours were 5:00 AM to 6:00 PM. My flight was scheduled to arrive at 5:55 PM, and I expected a shuttle to be waiting, but there wasn't one. When I called, they just repeated the service hours. It would have been helpful if they had mentioned that when I made the booking.
In the end, I walked. It's about 1.5 km, which is manageable with a backpack after sunset. It's too hot to walk during the day.
There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and a supermarket is within walking distance. Being on the main road, it's also easy to catch a multicab.
The room was mostly satisfactory, though there's no refrigerator. The shower pressure isn't great, but it's functional. However, the showerhead is mounted quite high, which might be a bit challenging for shorter people.
GGuest UserNice hotel and a great location. It was a good experience overall, but the room needed a refresh and we had ants in our room. The couch, curtains, and table cloth needed a really good cleaning, or even better, replacing. Not important for us, but we didn't see an elevator. The staff were very friendly and accommodating as they let us have our free breakfast for dinner as we were leaving very early in the morning.
Ddel_vlWe stayed at this hotel in February. The location is excellent, just a 10-minute drive from the airport. Right across the road, there's a shopping mall with a large supermarket and plenty of cafes. The hotel isn't new, but it's clean. It has a decent air conditioner and hot water. There's also a pretty good pool on the property. However, if you book tours or transfers to El Nido through the reception, be aware that punctuality is a huge problem. They'll give you one time, but you might end up waiting three hours. It seems like they book things on the fly, even though I confirmed the times with them every day during my three-day stay. And after our excursion was delayed by THREE hours, I reconfirmed the El Nido transfer twice. Ultimately, on the day of our departure, at 9:40 AM, we were informed that our 9:30 AM bus wouldn't be coming and we'd have to wait until 11 AM, but it actually arrived at 11:40 AM.
Because of this significant delay, our entire day was ruined! So, I absolutely do not recommend booking any transfers or excursions through this hotel! They tell you one thing, but in reality, you could waste a lot of time, especially if you have plans!
GGuest UserWe only stayed here for 2 nights on arrival to PP, then headed to El Nido by van after a visit to the underground river. Staff organised our tour and transport. facilities were brilliant, staff were freindly and efficient. Food was scrumptious. Pool area is beautiful at night. room was very spacious and the bed was comfortable. Highly recommend staying here.
MMartin BosioIncreíble stay! Nice hot shower, beautiful pool to relax and have a drink. Really friendly and professional staff. Accesible from the airport, only downside would be that it’s a bit far from downtown but perfect for a peaceful stay. 100% recommend to buy tiny bread called “Cheeseepandesal” from the neighboring lady baker (has a caddy with oven, serves it hot🤤)
BBlade.around.the.worldUniversity /University dorm partially turned into a hotel with minimal investment. The result is mostly positive. The hotel is very photogenic so it's easy to get the impression that it's much more swanky than it actually is.. I enjoyed my stay, the staff is friendly, it's clean, surrounded by greenery and nice views. Don't let the name Hotel Palacio fool you, don't expect a palace, the hotel is modest but comfortable. Location wise, it's out of town which was no problem for me as I had prearranged a motorbike during my 7 days stay. For those pending on jeepney public transport or tricycle taxis, places like the baywalk are far away. The van I had organised to the airport early morning with the receptionist was punctually waiting for me. Everything was good. Expect a 3 star property and you won't be disappointed.
SSophia The ExplorerPros:
-Very accommodating and polite staff
-Clean rooms and common areas
-Convenient paid airport pickup and drop-off (₱1,100 pickup via hotel van, ₱600 drop-off via taxi arranged by the hotel)
-Well-maintained swimming pool (approx. 4 ft deep)
-Lounge sunbeds by the pool overlooking both the pool and the beach
-In-house restaurant and small bar available
-Housekeeping is attentive and regularly checks if cleaning is needed
-Comfortable bed; towels and linens smelled and felt clean
-Beach towels available upon request at reception
-Beach view is nice, though only accessible at high tide (around 6:00 PM)
Cons:
-Very isolated location; nothing to see or do outside the hotel
-Free hotel shuttle to Robinsons Mall is helpful but limited to scheduled times
-Breakfast is not worth purchasing if not included in the room
First two days were buffet-style and okay
Last two days were plated and disappointing (small portions, food served cold, long waiting time)
-Air-conditioning in our room was a bit noisy, which was inconvenient since I was working
-Limited activities within the hotel aside from the pool
-Restaurant food and drinks are quite pricey; we relied on Grab deliveries most of the stay
Suggestions for Improvement:
Keep breakfast buffet-style permanently to improve food quality, temperature, and waiting time
Improve coordination of breakfast orders
Consider adding more in-house activities or more affordable dining options
Final Thoughts:
A clean and comfortable hotel with excellent staff, best for guests who plan to relax within the property. Improvements in breakfast service and minor facility upgrades would greatly enhance the overall experience.
GGuest UserThe hotel is located near the airport, it's an overnight stay, the breakfasts are meager, the pool is covered in leaves, the outlets are Asian, there are no adapters, phones were charged at the reception
