There is no noise from the street, because there are no establishments or shops around and the hotel is located sideways to the street. The reception was very friendly, they warned us about an early check-out in two days, prepared lunch boxes for us, called a taxi and were generally very nice. True, the money at the hotel does not change, as we expected, but we changed it upon arrival at the airport, although at a reduced rate, but we had money and this decision was correct - all two days that we were in Yangon were weekends , and all banks and other exchange offices were closed. We lived on the fifth floor, a nice spacious room with quality furniture. Very comfortable high bed, 4 pillows, which I always approve of. There is air conditioning, a safe, bathrobes and slippers. Cleaning every day, towels changed, bed linen changed every 2 days. They put a lot of supplies in the bathroom. The breakfast room is a little small, we came straight to the opening and did the right thing. However, there were a lot of people only on one day, on the second there was no one there, apparently the holidays were over and everyone had left. They give you local soup, different every day, noodles, fried eggs, toast, thoughts with cereal, sliced ​​fruit. Not very varied, but we got our fill.

A very good experience. The staff were very welcoming, and the breakfast was very generous. I would definitely choose the Mandarin Oriental Hotel again next time. The hotel offers a variety of room types, and the price and location are excellent.

Hotel is not new, breakfast is modest - rice with fried eggs and a cup of coffee. At the same time the rooms are spacious, beds comfortable, shower is good, besides the teapot in the room there is microwave and dishes. Staff super responsive, will help everything. The location is successful for tourism - near, 15 minutes walk are the Pagoda Sule and from it there are buses to the Pagoda Swedagon. When settled, the bonus is a delicious cocktail in the hotel bar. In general, a good option for a small price.

Breakfast is very rich every day, and every day is different, this must be liked. The environment is relatively good. Relatively many hotels in the same category say that it is much quieter. One more thing, breakfast can be delivered to the room, which is not available in similar hotels.

Holly hotel is very convenient if you have to stay overnight between the Mingalar highway busstation and airport in Yangon. Hotel can arrange taxi but getting your own with Grab is cheaper. Also the restaurant on site is good for a meal but environment is not very inviting. The beds are comfortable and hot water is available 24/7. Nearby is Terminal shopping mall with Ocean supermarket . If you want to go to the city centre it will take you 45min. to an hour!

If you’re looking for a place near the airport this hotel is good. Apart from that there’s nothing else. The staff are friendly though and there’s a free shuttle bus which is about 5 minutes to the airport. The breakfast starts at 6 am. Nothing fancy though but it’s not bad. This hotel is average in terms of the quality.

Most of the staff is friendly, but the problem is that only one of the staff speaks good English. Also the owner of the place speaks English. It happens that under one type of room with one name there can be 2 types of rooms: you can easily be given a room without windows, or you can be given a smoky room. I do not recommend to take breakfast, as it is rather poor for this price and the choice of dishes is not great. Do not think of giving your clothes to the laundry. A few things were in disrepair afterwards. Overall, a normal hotel with a good location and friendly staff, if you are willing to sometimes long to explain your needs or fight for the paid level.

But the main advantage, which outweighs even the downsides, is the hotel's location. It's a 19-minute walk to the Shwedagon weather station. There are a couple of shops and a cafe next to the hotel that works even when the lights go out. There's an improvised market where you can buy fruit. The bus stop is also 20 meters from the hotel.
