"I stayed at the end of February. I chose this hotel in order to go to Towada Lake Winter Story. The location is very convenient. It takes about 15-20 minutes to walk to Towada Lake slowly under heavy snow. The check-in experience is much better than expected. I originally thought that this kind of old hotel would be old and dirty, but I was wrong. Although the whole hotel is decorated in a more traditional way, it is not old-fashioned but has a lot of flavor. The furniture is a bit old but it does not affect the comfort. I have to praise its bedding and bed, which are super comfortable. It seems to have magic and I feel very comfortable lying in the bed without doing anything. I have stayed in high-end hot spring hotels before, but the beds are not as memorable as this one. The room has a ”home” feeling and it is really comfortable. The only drawback is that the pillow is a rice bag, which is not accustomed to sleeping on it. In addition, the wind power of the hair dryer is not strong enough. The wind power and heat are similar to those of a dryer. Ladies with long hair will get tired of blowing their hands. Apart from the above two points, I am very satisfied with the rest. The breakfast selection is sufficient and tastes good, so you won't feel hungry. The dinner you choose when booking the room online will be prepared in the public canteen. It tastes good and has many styles. The hairy crabs are delicious. I think it is great value to have such food and accommodation quality at this price. The staff is also very friendly and proactive. I stayed for two nights and felt so comfortable that I didn't want to leave. I highly recommend this hotel. I am very satisfied and like it."

"This is a very old Japanese style hotel, but staff are all very nice with good services provided. The hotel is close to the walking path which allows you for enjoy hiking with you friends. But one thing need to be considered, which is toilet, the room itself doesn’t has toilet, you have to use public toilet which locates on the same floor of your room. Even though you have to clean up yourself in the morning, you have to use the public toilet or go to onsen to makeup yourself."

"The hotel is about 20 minutes on foot from the core area of Aochuan. The nearest bus stop is Shiwada Onsen Township Station. It takes about 10 minutes to walk. The hotel is halfway up the mountain and not in the core area of the hot spring town. The surrounding environment is good. The rooms are large and the facilities are quite complete, especially the dinner provided by the hotel is superb and the breakfast is very good; the hotel has indoor and open air, but the open air scenery is just like the general. There is also a traffic information to share with you. The hotel provides free pick-up service from New Aomori, Aomori Station (13:30) and Hachinohe Station (11:00), but the pick-up time is a bit embarrassing, not very good to arrange follow-up activity. In addition, I have to spit it out. When I contacted Aomori Station, the customer service provided by Ctrip provided an error message, saying that Aomori Station did not provide pick-up. I took a train from Aomori Station to Shin-Aomori and took the shuttle bus. The result was followed by the connection. The bus took a ride back to Aomori Station, wasting time and fare."
