Guest UserFirst off, I want to acknowledge the excellent service and the decent food at the restaurant. The staff were warm and enthusiastic, even helping with luggage. As for the breakfast, which some reviews criticized, it's pretty standard for a B&B – not a huge variety, but they're quick to restock. Even though breakfast officially ends at 10 AM, I still found eggs and fried dough available past 10:30 AM.
Now for the downsides. Firstly, the ants in the room. In the first room I booked, there were large black ants on the table and floor. I reported it to the staff, and they promptly moved me to another room. The first night in the new room was fine, but then I found ants again the next morning, which was quite unsettling. I was worried they might have gotten into my luggage overnight. The hotel explained that ants are unavoidable due to the surrounding greenery, which I understand but can't accept, especially given the room rate. Basic pest control should be in place.
Secondly, the power outages. During my two-night stay, there were power cuts every morning. What's most frustrating is that the toilets are electric, which meant no flushing – quite an awkward situation. If it's a location with unstable power, I can understand, but couldn't they use regular toilets instead?
Lastly, there are nightly performances both at the guesthouse and outside. The guesthouse's show runs from 9:30 PM to 10:00 PM, while the outdoor bonfire party goes on until past midnight. The room's soundproofing isn't great, so it gets noisy and affects sleep. I understand it's a local cultural feature, but most guests are travelers looking for rest, and being disturbed until midnight is a bit much. However, if you enjoy a lively atmosphere, you might like it. Finally, the hairdryer in the room was broken. On a positive note, the landscape room did offer a good view, though there was a slight cow dung smell. The first room with ants had it, but the second room I was moved to was better in that regard.

Guest UserVery nice homestay, get off the bus, the little brother and other staff at the front desk come over to help with the luggage, check in quickly, smile kindly, just like returning home. The little brother also gave us a free room upgrade, and the beautiful scenery outside the window was refreshing! There is also a place for small cockroaches in the homestay. While eating the complimentary melon, while enjoying the small flowers in the courtyard, it is so pleasant! What surprised us was that the dishes made in the homestay restaurant were very delicious. This homestay, strong push!

Anonymous UserThe scenery here is beautiful, with the mountains in the distance and the cows and horses grazing on the grass outside, it's like a painting. The room is quite large, and it's no problem for a family of three to live in. There are bedrooms on both sides and a dining room in the middle. The design is reasonable. The only problem is that the screen door of the outside door cannot be closed separately, but everything else is fine.

Along the Ten-Mile Gallery, near Fairy Lake and about ten kilometers from Qiaerma, I wanted to stay in Qiaerma halfway through the Duku Highway. I found that the highly-rated guesthouses nearby were all those with dry toilets, which I couldn't stand. This place only had a 3.7 rating, so I thought it would be terrible, but surprisingly, it was quite good. It was a standard room in a proper hotel, not very big, but the toilet seemed newly renovated and quite clean. The lobby was quite grand, and the staff even helped with my luggage. I think the online reviews were too low; it's a proper hotel with its own restaurant, so it should be at least a 4. The scenery along the road from the hotel to Qiaerma on the Duku Highway is also very beautiful. I recommend staying here.
