We paid extra to upgrade to a scenic room with a small courtyard, and watching the sunset over the mountains and grasslands was incredibly picturesque – perfect for photos! The room itself was spacious, clean, and the facilities were very new. Full marks, highly recommended!"

"First off, I want to acknowledge the excellent service and the decent food at the restaurant. The staff were warm and enthusiastic, even helping with luggage. As for the breakfast, which some reviews criticized, it's pretty standard for a B&B – not a huge variety, but they're quick to restock. Even though breakfast officially ends at 10 AM, I still found eggs and fried dough available past 10:30 AM. Now for the downsides. Firstly, the ants in the room. In the first room I booked, there were large black ants on the table and floor. I reported it to the staff, and they promptly moved me to another room. The first night in the new room was fine, but then I found ants again the next morning, which was quite unsettling. I was worried they might have gotten into my luggage overnight. The hotel explained that ants are unavoidable due to the surrounding greenery, which I understand but can't accept, especially given the room rate. Basic pest control should be in place. Secondly, the power outages. During my two-night stay, there were power cuts every morning. What's most frustrating is that the toilets are electric, which meant no flushing – quite an awkward situation. If it's a location with unstable power, I can understand, but couldn't they use regular toilets instead? Lastly, there are nightly performances both at the guesthouse and outside. The guesthouse's show runs from 9:30 PM to 10:00 PM, while the outdoor bonfire party goes on until past midnight. The room's soundproofing isn't great, so it gets noisy and affects sleep. I understand it's a local cultural feature, but most guests are travelers looking for rest, and being disturbed until midnight is a bit much. However, if you enjoy a lively atmosphere, you might like it. Finally, the hairdryer in the room was broken. On a positive note, the landscape room did offer a good view, though there was a slight cow dung smell. The first room with ants had it, but the second room I was moved to was better in that regard."

Their homemade meals are authentic and delicious, using fresh, local ingredients. The rooms are equipped with smart controls and entertainment systems, and the family rooms are spacious. Plus, it's pet-friendly, offers horseback riding experiences, and has free parking in the courtyard, making travel super convenient. As a new establishment, it's clean, well-maintained, and fully equipped, perfect for both family trips and travel with friends. "The accommodation is located near the entrance of the Mengkete Ancient Road Scenic Area, very close:) There are quite a few homestays in that area, but I chose this one based on the information from Ctrip. After looking at the room, I decided to choose this one. The room was just opened to the public 25 years ago, and the decoration is quite western style (in line with the aesthetic taste of young people). The bathroom facilities are complete, and there is a small balcony with lights on, which creates a good atmosphere. Looking out from the floor-to-ceiling glass, you can see the scenery in the distance, as well as the cattle and sheep on the distant mountains. The scenery is nice~"

"I was pleasantly surprised as soon as I checked into this newly opened guesthouse! The family room at this new guesthouse, where I stayed with my child, was amazing! The room was spacious and bright, and the biggest surprise was that there was a Zimomo plush toy in the room! My child's eyes lit up as soon as we entered, and he wouldn't let go of it, having a wonderful time the whole time. It saved me a lot of energy putting him down! The cleanliness was impeccable, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. It's definitely a gem for families with kids, and it's already on my list to stay again! The overall decor is very stylish, and you can see the owner's attention to detail in every corner. The soft furnishings are exquisite and cozy, perfect for taking great photos. The owner is super nice, answering all my questions and recommending some great restaurants nearby. A perfect experience! I'll definitely stay here again next time I come back."

It was unbelievably clean—I've never seen such a spotless accommodation, not a speck of dust anywhere. The decor was incredibly elegant; I bet the owner is an interior designer. They even upgraded us to a room with a fantastic view. The owner's service was exceptional; they even helped us carry our heavy luggage upstairs. The breakfast was delicious and offered a great variety. I honestly can't recommend this place enough! A must-stay hotel!"

However, the only drawback is the constant noise from ongoing construction nearby, severely disrupting rest. Additionally, the tap water quality is questionable; the water appears murky and unclean, making washing up unpleasant. Overall, the facilities are inadequate. While the service is a plus, the noise and water issues significantly detract from the stay. It's okay for a short stay, but not recommended for those seeking a more comfortable experience."

"After running the Duku Highway, I chose to stay at Tangbra Painting Land Manor. The overall experience was very pleasant. The hotel is located in Baili Gallery. It is the grassland and forest when you go out. The window is open to the beautiful scenery of the snow-capped mountains. The evening glow is beautiful. The starry sky is raised at night, and the scenery is directly full. The rooms are clean and refreshing, the hardware facilities are brand new, the bedding is comfortable, and the rest quality is very good. The staff is attentive, the check-in is efficient, the supporting dining taste is online, the parking lot is sufficient, and the self-driving travel is particularly friendly. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, quiet and cozy, whether it is a family trip or a friend, come to Tangbula to recommend this manor hotel. Duku self-driving, painting the manor, watching the sunset on the grassland, looking up at the stars in the sky 🌌"

"I wholeheartedly recommend this guesthouse in the Mengkete River Valley! It was the most comfortable stay I had during my trip to Tangbula! The location is absolutely amazing, right on the edge of the Hundred-Mile River Valley. Stepping outside, you're surrounded by grasslands and snow-capped mountains. Everywhere you look is lush greenery and clear water. The air is incredibly fresh, and the place is quiet and comfortable – a true escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. The guesthouse was exceptionally clean and tidy. The rooms were impeccably arranged, and the beds were very comfortable. Even though it can get a bit chilly in the mountains at night, the room was perfectly warm, making for a very comfortable stay. The owner is incredibly honest and welcoming. He's very genuine and patiently explains nearby tourist routes and photogenic spots, and he's very thoughtful and attentive. The food is also authentic local cuisine, with fresh ingredients and delicious flavors. If you're visiting Mengkete, hiking the ancient trails, or exploring the Hundred-Mile Gallery, this guesthouse is a must-stay. It's great value for money, has a wonderful environment, and the owners are genuinely kind. I'll definitely choose this place again next time!"

"This "luxury wilderness" campsite in Tangbula was... well, let's just say it left something to be desired. What exactly is the campsite's positioning? Is it "wild"? Is it "luxury"? Environment: The campsite isn't large, and there are high-voltage power lines right next to it, both in front and behind. Firstly, the power lines and towers are unsightly, and secondly, there are concerns about radiation. After dinner, while taking a walk, we encountered unleashed dogs running rampant on the wooden boardwalk. The camp staff were laughing and admiring the dogs' "freedom" and "cuteness." Is this "luxury wilderness"? Rooms: The comfort level was poor. I assumed the campsite rooms wouldn't be large, and since it's "luxury wilderness," the facilities might be decent. However, it took over ten minutes for hot water to come out in the shower, and the soundproofing was poor! The toiletries and toilet paper were mediocre. Rest: In the evening, a high-powered speaker blared in the center of the campsite, close to the rooms. The poor soundproofing made it impossible to rest properly, which was unbearable. We complained, it stopped for a while, then started again, and only gradually stopped after further complaints. Is this "luxury wilderness"? Dinner: We ate at the campsite's restaurant. Looking at the menu, the prices were on the expensive side but acceptable, so we chose to eat there. However, the food didn't match the description and the price-performance ratio was extremely low. A serving of potato and beef slices only contained three slices of beef, one of which was too tough to chew, and the amount of potato was also minimal. The lamb chop pilaf we ordered took half an hour to arrive; what came was lamb pilaf (cheaper than lamb chop pilaf), and it was cold and inedible. Fortunately, the restaurant manager refunded us for the pilaf. Is this "wilderness luxury"? Breakfast: Very simple, not even coffee. Is this "wilderness luxury"? Service: The staff responsible for room communication were friendly and responded quickly. There was no "wild" scenery, and certainly no "luxurious" food or accommodation."
