GGuest UserI stayed here with my mother for two nights. The hotel was easy to contact and have been very friendly and helpful from the start. They provided a transfer from the train station to their place, and were super willing to give us advice about the village. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean and had a lovely view to the mountains and gardens. The village is small, so we could walk everywhere. The bus station for the transfer back to the train station was right in front of the hotel, and the station to catch the sightseeing bus was / minutes away.

GGuest UserThe room was new and very clean. I looked at many guesthouses and finally booked this one with a bit of trepidation. When I arrived, I wasn't disappointed. You could see the rice paddies outside right from the room's glass window. The front desk staff, both the young men and women, were very nice and polite. Every time we came back from going out, they'd proactively ask if we wanted anything to drink. They had Coke and Sprite for the kids, and coffee for the adults. It's located near the end of the village, not far from where the electric shuttle stops. The photos are actual pictures taken inside the room.

1. Provided pickup and drop-off at Congjiang HST Station.
2. From Homestay to main street is about 10 minutes walk.
The Not So Good -
1. Daily housekeeping was cursory and scanty. We stayed for 4 nights and the floor was not sweeped.
2. Staff were not very helpful. They provided us with the information but we had to DIY. As foreigners, buying tickets on Wechat mini program could be challenging at times.
3. Breakfast lacked variety. Will not accommodate outside the scheduled breakfast time.

__WeChat268472****The B&B is right by the river, making it easy to fall asleep in the quiet night! The room was also very clean and tidy. The owner was very kind and provided various travel guides. There are many delicious restaurants nearby, and the main street is right across the Flower Bridge, making it very convenient to go out for dinner! In short, it is highly recommended.

GGuest UserThe location is in a small road and requires climbing a flight of stairs, so it is quiet and has good views. It's conveniently located on the main street, but it can be noisy. If you want quietness, choose this hotel. The facilities are complete and the scenery outside the window is also very good. I am satisfied.

GGuest UserThe owner was very thoughtful; seeing we had a child, they proactively upgraded us to a family room. The room was nicely furnished, with disposable towel sets and cups instead of traditional hotel toiletries. It had a relatively private balcony with views of the top of the Drum Tower and parts of the scenic area – perfect for relaxing on a deck chair. The hotel's location also avoided the noise of the main tourist area, which was a great advantage for guests who value a comfortable sleeping environment.

MMonika - SlovenskoFantastic stay at Bula Lakeside Hotel! Clean room with amazing lake view at the beginning of Zhaoxing Dong village. Hot water and heating worked without any problems. WIFI also worked. I would like to thank the staff the most - the girl at the reception who we communicated with via WeChat and a translator. We are foreigners who don't speak Chinese and she didn't speak English, but we managed everything. Also the gentleman who came to the train station to pick us up to make our way to the hotel easier. We also appreciate his cooking skills as he prepared a perfect dinner for us. I absolutely recommend this hotel and if we ever come back, we will stay here again. Thank you again for the nice time.

The natural wood interior feels warm and cozy, and the lush greenery creates a serene and elegant atmosphere. It's perfect for sitting back with a cup of tea, escaping the hustle and bustle. The B&B even has a tea area, which is great for chatting and relaxing. It's an ideal spot for a vacation or simply to unwind and relax for a short stay.
