The grounds and public areas of this hotel were immaculate, and one can't help but be impressed by the cleaners constantly sweeping up every last leaf in the courtyards. The staff were all friendly and accommodating, from the receptionist who retrieved our laundry when we were out, to the lady owner who greeted us in the street and offered helpful suggestions for sightseeing, to the kitchen staff who tried their best to adjust to our western taste at breakfast. The hotel had a superb location on historic Bajing Street which was full of quirky shops selling antiques and folk crafts. The Song Dynasty cultural village, the Bajing Pavilion, the ancient city walls and the pontoon bridge were all within easy walking distance.

The service has improved. There is a young lady at the front desk who has been working for at least five years. She still has no smile. The guests owe her. But I have stayed at this hotel for six years twice a year. Ganzhou I haven't changed it. I hope that the young lady who is not smiling will also change her attitude.

The breakfast is very good and there are many varieties. 195 service is very good to experience. The upper floors can see the city view of Zhangzhou, next to Yangming Middle School.
