The room was clean and cosy. We felt very comfortable here. The location is also excellent. Shopping facilities and sights are within walking distance. Unfortunately, there was construction work going on in the building during our stay. That's why it was very noisy during the day.

It's not far from Wuwei East Railway Station; a taxi ride costs around ten yuan. The courtyard is quite spacious with parking, and there's a Little Red Riding Hood coffee shop inside. There are washing machines and dryers. I stayed for two nights; the two young ladies at the front desk were very polite and welcoming, providing excellent service and even sharing local food information with me. I booked a set meal including beef noodles through Ctrip, which was quite delicious. The room wasn't large, but it was fully equipped, clean, and had a separate shower and toilet area. The hotel is just a few minutes' walk from the Confucius Temple.

The accommodation is quaint, clean and sanitary. It is the most convenient homestay option around Gulang County. You can see the light show of the ancient tower on the mountain at night. Breakfast is included and it is worth recommending.

The hotel looks grand, and you will be attracted by the magnificent lobby as soon as you enter the door. The front desk staff is warm and thoughtful, and they quickly check in and introduce the surrounding attractions. The room is spacious and bright, the decoration is exquisite, the bed is soft like a cloud, and you will feel refreshed after a good sleep. The bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas, and the toiletries are of high quality. Next time I come here, I will definitely stay here again!

Walk to Huazang Temple for ten minutes, and the room is particularly sunny in the afternoon. The toilet is very huge, and the water heater is used to boil water, but the hot water is still quite sufficient. Mattresses and pillows are hard, I like it very much, some people may not be used to it. The door gap is a bit big, it can transmit light, and it is not particularly sensitive when swiping the card, there is no breakfast. But in the county town of 100 yuan, hot water is also clean, what can I expect?

An immaculate hotel with a delicious breakfast buffet located within walking distance of the city. Across the road (through the underpass) is a lovely dirt-path park for birding, and at the end you can access the bridge to town. Behind the hotel is access to hiking trails to take you up to the ridge and pagoda. The hotel itself had a kettle, the standard toothbrush-comb-slippers-towel amenities, and a friendly supportive staff (though with minimal English). There’s parking out front. For those on foot, the hotel will pick up/drop off at the train station. There is a restaurant and a convenience store a couple of doors down from the hotel. Gulang is a fabulous destination for seeing the Great Wall; we hired a driver for the day and did a couple hours of hiking along the wall (next to corn fields!) and then visited the grottoes. Not touristy at all — one of my favorite spots on the trip!
