The boss was very nice, telling him that he wanted to drink boiling water, he burned it. The next morning, we got up and drank horse milk, sat at the door leisurely and tried new food, and took us to the next door to pick mulberry and apricots at noon, and picked them and eaten super sweet. After picking, a group went to Sumeida to eat beef bone hot pot, took a nap after lunch and drove us to leave the street for us to go shopping, and the boss went to get the kavas for the evening barbecue. The owner made the courtyard more beautiful than a park, and the flowers and plants were so bright and eye-catching. I also grew vegetables and it looked really comfortable. Walking into the room again, it's so spacious, the layout is completely open, neat, clean and sentimental. Every combination of the room is really perfect. The bathroom is also clean and smell-free, and hot water is always available. It was such a great stay, and I had a great time eating breakfast, including rice porridge, fried dough sticks, steamed buns, pancakes and side dishes, and an egg for each person. Solo travelers from all over the country gather here, chatting late into the night in the courtyard or common areas, sharing their experiences, scenery, and life stories. What could have been a lonely solo trip is now filled with warmth. What touched me most was the everyday warmth: everyone goes out to buy groceries together, then returns to the hostel's communal kitchen and cooks together. Some chop vegetables, some cook, and some plate the food – a home-cooked meal is made by everyone working together. Sitting around the table, there's no awkwardness or distance, just like being part of a large family in a foreign land. The owner and volunteers were incredibly helpful, patiently assisting with everything from travel guides for Kalajun and Qiongkushitai to finding carpooling partners. The rooms were clean and tidy, and the hot water in the bathroom was reliable. For those looking to experience a genuine backpacker atmosphere in Tekes, this hostel was the perfect choice. I still miss it dearly, and I'll definitely come back next time I'm in Yili!
