I came to Liuyang specifically to watch the fireworks on the fifth day of the ***** New Year, and I'm so glad I booked the Qiyun Fireworks Hotel. The hotel's floor-to-ceiling windows were exceptionally clean and bright, allowing me to watch the fireworks from my bed. The viewing platform also had a large screen showing the live show, with music playing while I watched the fireworks – it was practically indistinguishable from being at the Sky Theater. I was also very glad I stayed at Qiyun, avoiding the traffic jams after the fireworks display. I'm especially grateful to the hotel manager for calling in advance on the fifth day of the ***** New Year to inform me about the road closures, which helped me avoid traffic congestion. After communicating with them, they even brought bedding for my child to the room in advance. The breakfast also had a lot of Hunan specialties – it was fantastic!
