He also picked us up from the train station and dropped us off there, which was very much appreciated. His wife is also very warm and friendly, and together they create a lovely, home like atmosphere. The breakfasts were delicious, and the location of the hotel is excellent, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. The only small downside was that we happened to visit during a period of construction, so our room had a view of the works. However, this was just bad timing and did not take away from our overall experience. As a memorable highlight, Lu played and sang a traditional Dong song for us, which was absolutely magical and something we will never forget. We highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a genuine and heartfelt stay.

Location of the hotel was really good, right next to the performance venue and about 10 minutes by foot from the drop off point of the shuttle bus. Personally, I didn't find any good food inside the scenic area. In short, unless you have a strong fascination with the architecture of Guizhou's ethnic minorities, I wouldn't recommend coming here.
