"The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly, but overall I don’t think it offers good value for money. The biggest issue is that there is no air conditioning. During the summer, the room became very hot, making it difficult to sleep comfortably at night. The location is also very inconvenient. The hotel is halfway up a hill, and it takes nearly 2 km of uphill walking to reach the train station(Speiz) or the nearest supermarket（coop）. Even going into the town center requires about a 2 km walk. I would recommend staying in Interlaken or somewhere close to a train station instead. If you just want to visit Spiez, it’s very easy to take the train for a day trip, so there is really no need to stay here. Another downside is the check-in and check-out policy. Check-out is at 10:00 AM, while check-in is only from 3:00 PM, which is much less convenient than most hotels. Overall, I don’t think this hotel is worth the price because of the inconvenient location, lack of air conditioning, and early check-out time. 飯店整體乾淨，工作人員服務態度也不錯，但以房價來說，我認為CP值不高。 最大的問題是沒有空調。瑞士夏天其實也很熱，房間裡非常悶，晚上睡覺很不舒服，甚至很難入睡。 另外，地理位置非常不方便。飯店位於半山腰，不論是前往施皮茲火車站還是最近的coop超市，都需要步行將近 2 公里，而且大部分都是上坡。如果要到市區逛逛，也差不多要走 2 公里，每天都要走很多路，非常耗體力。 我會建議大家直接住在 Interlaken，或是選擇離火車站近一點的住宿。如果只是想來 Spiez 玩，搭火車一日遊就很方便，真的沒有必要住在這裡，因為無論去哪裡都不方便。 另外，checkout時間是早上 10 點，比大部分酒店都早；但入住卻要下午 3 點才能辦理，對旅客來說相當不方便。 整體而言，除了房間乾淨之外，沒有空調、地點偏遠、交通不便，加上入住與退房時間安排不合理，以這個價格來說，我不會推薦入住😥"

During this entire European trip, it was the only hotel that delivered my luggage directly to my room so I didn't have to carry it up myself; it really exceeded my expectations. "Spiez itself is quite small, and the hotel is very close to the train station. We stayed in Spiez and took the train every morning to visit Grindelwald, Zermatt, and Interlaken, which was very convenient. If you arrive late, you can self-check-in. I thought our room would be small because we booked the last one, but it turned out to be very spacious (at least much larger than an Ibis room) and comfortable. When checking in at night, I saw free bread and fruit available for guests to take. In the morning, you can buy bread downstairs for a few Swiss francs to take with you as snacks for the road. The only downside is that the Coop in Spiez closes too early and is closed on weekends. However, public transport in Switzerland is so convenient that you can just take a one-stop train to the Coop at Bern train station."

"Exceeded expectations! The most satisfying accommodation of my trip to Switzerland. Similar to a guesthouse, the check-in instructions sent via email were very clear; I didn't need to contact them at all, and self-check-in was a breeze. It was a 20-minute walk with luggage and a 15-minute walk without luggage to the train station. There's a bus stop (number 63) right outside, but it only runs once an hour, so I skipped it. The room had two floors and was huge; it was a bit wasteful for three people, I think it could comfortably accommodate six. The cooking facilities were complete, but the lack of a microwave was a bit of a disappointment; I used the oven to heat up some hamburgers. It was very convenient to walk to the lakeside to see Spiez Castle in the evening and to the boat dock. Highly recommended! I regret changing accommodations later, although they were also good, but actually, staying in Spiez would have been very convenient!"

"The swimming pool is quite picturesque. The breakfast was also very good. The only problem was that it was quite tiring to push the luggage from the train station. It was uphill and downhill, and there were stairs at the hotel entrance, no ramp, so moving luggage was difficult. When I originally booked, I saw that the shuttle was free, but when I arrived in Switzerland, it became a paid service. Other than that, everything was good."
