The Grand Palace Hurghada is specially designed for couples who want more than a hotel stay. On one of Hurghada's finest private sandy beaches, right on Mamsha, the Touristic Promenade. Adults only — designed entirely around couples who want to switch off properly.
The hotel blends traditional North African design with modern comforts in a way that feels genuinely special — think 1001 Nights meets contemporary luxury. Three pools, secluded relaxation spots, and swim-up direct pool access rooms set the mood from the moment you arrive.
Your room is built around privacy and comfort. Spacious Junior Suites come with king-size beds, open-plan layouts, cozy seating, and a private balcony or terrace — choose your view: garden, pool, or the Red Sea. Step up to a swim-up room with direct pool access from your terrace, or treat yourselves to a Royal Villa with a private Jacuzzi or plunge pool.
Dining covers every mood — a relaxed breakfast buffet to start your day, authentic Turkish, Asian and Mexican cuisine for something different, and beachfront à la carte dining when the setting deserves a proper meal. Service throughout is attentive without being intrusive. When you feel like exploring, the shops, bars, and restaurants of the Grand Mall are just steps from the hotel entrance.

SSafirwithkyrie1If you’re looking for the ultimate place to relax your mind and recharge your soul, look no further than Steigenberger Hotel Resort Gold El Gouna. From the moment I arrived, I felt an incredible sense of peace and luxury. The atmosphere is absolutely breathtaking –, stunning views, and beautifully designed spaces that make you feel like you’re in paradise. 🌊☀️
The food? 🔥 10/10 – every meal was cooked to perfection, with so much variety and flavor that every bite felt like an experience. Whether it’s breakfast with fresh pastries and exotic fruits, or a gourmet dinner with world-class dishes, this resort sets a new standard for culinary excellence.
The service? 💯 Simply amazing. Every single staff member I interacted with was warm, professional, and genuinely cared about making my stay unforgettable. From the front desk to the housekeeping team, to the restaurant staff – everyone was so helpful, attentive, and always greeted me with a smile. It’s rare to find such consistently outstanding service.
The rooms are elegant, spacious, and spotless, with everything you need for total comfort. The resort offers so many relaxing spots – from the private beach areas to the stunning poolside – perfect for unwinding with a drink in hand and just enjoying the calm vibes.

DDuyudaxixiThe room was just okay. We stayed in an overwater bungalow, but if you prefer quiet, beware—the disco music blared until 11 PM. The kids had a blast, though. There were over 10 restaurants, but most served 'white people food' which wasn't very good. The seafood restaurant cost extra. If you're here to play, don't be picky about the food and lodging.
The water games are open from 10 AM to 12 PM and again from 2 PM to 5 PM. After 7 PM, land-based mini-games and the VR arcade open up. There are also parties, so you definitely won't get bored.
The lobby building offers free ice cream and afternoon tea.
Lots of Russians, very few Chinese.
CChristian68Great hotel in Makadi Bay, 2nd row, yet a short way to the beach. Service in the restaurants very prevalent, Ala Carte restaurant can be used 1x per stay, gives some of them.
Eating excellent, there is still a corner with spices. Main pool was heated, animation was okay, there is still air up.
Total very recommended!!

GGuest UserThis resort hotel is absolutely fantastic! Once you book, all three meals are included, which is a great perk. The hotel facilities are incredibly comprehensive; once you're checked in, there's really no need to go anywhere else. The pools are amazing, and they offer fitness classes like aerobics and yoga, plus sports activities like beach volleyball during the day. Definitely remember to bring your swimsuit! You can even snorkel right off the hotel's beach, and the little fish in the sea are absolutely beautiful.
AAnonymous UserConclusion first: I don't recommend going to Hurghada to spend money and get humiliated. All the staff discriminate against Chinese people. If you have to go, you can consider this hotel
1. Service: The restaurant staff is OK, but
– The staff on the beach will chat with white people very enthusiastically and ask what they want to drink, but I just skipped it. According to my observation, Chinese people all get their drinks from the bar. Interesting, the main purpose is to secretly disgust you. After complaining to the manager, there was no improvement (the management team apologized sincerely, but Egypt's structural discrimination may be unsolvable)
– I was yelled at by the staff on the beach for moving an unused fence (the white people next to me used two without any problem)
2. Facilities: It is said that there are four restaurants, but it is impossible to make an appointment, which means that there is only one restaurant, and the food is at the level of a cafeteria. Only the barbecue bar is OK. Anyone who has stayed in all-inclusive hotels in other places can't praise it
3. Room: The decoration is very poor, the level of domestic cheap and fast hotels, and the three words ”guesthouse” are the most accurate description
In short, Hurghada is not recommended at all, and this hotel has a relatively good evaluation
MM440560****The check-in process at the front desk was incredibly slow; I waited over ten minutes, only to be given a room completely different from the sea-view room I booked—it faced a wall! I had to get angry before they finally switched me to a room with a sea view. It’s best to double-check everything at the front desk when checking in, especially since the rooms are quite a distance from the front desk, and the restaurant is across from the front desk, requiring a walk from the beach.
This hotel's pool and beach don't prohibit Muslim swimwear, but the cleanliness felt average, and the facilities are a bit old. A particular note for parents: the pool under the children's play area is very deep. Even though there are lifeguards, parents should definitely accompany their children.
The food is typical Egyptian quality, with freshly cut fruit and two dishes prepared live daily. The location is quite good, right in the middle of a lively area and very close to the city pier. However, be cautious of the small Egyptian souvenir shops to the left of the main entrance; I don't recommend them. If you really want to shop there, go with a group.
The hotel also has its own pier for direct sea excursions, but be sure to choose your boat captain carefully. The hotel's landscaping is well-maintained with many cats, and the beach water is crystal clear, perfect for spotting small fish and water birds. There's morning yoga by the sea and evening entertainment. There are many hotels in this area, so you might consider staying at a few to get a different experience.
GGuest UserGreat location, the old town with shops and restaurants is within walking distance, the Zeytona beach island is nearby, you can get there by boat or walk 10 minutes, there is a restaurant on this island with a bar. Great breakfasts. Excellent service everywhere, the guys try very hard, and not under pressure, but from the heart. The hotel is, of course, to put it mildly, ”tired”, it needs renovation, but the efforts of the staff and the location compensate for this))). I will be happy to come back.
EE0351****The hotel environment is decent, but the bar staff in the lobby were extremely rude. They were very enthusiastic towards Western guests but completely ignored us even after we spoke to them several times. It was also very difficult to get a table at the restaurant. I wouldn't really recommend it.
GGuest UserThe hygiene was good, and there was a wide variety of breakfast options.
I was traveling alone and wanted a king-size bed, but the front desk said they were out and gave me a twin room. The bed was quite small, and there was no soap or shampoo in the bathroom.
Housekeeping kept knocking on my door around 8 AM, which was really annoying. I didn't expect cleaning time to be so early.
No private beach.
