My husband and I stayed in Sofitel for 3 nights and everything was honestly 10/10. The staff are excellent - so friendly and helpful. They attended to all our needs. Special shoutout to Nia and Kla for being so friendly :) The place itself is luxurious and all the amenities were fantastic. The buffet was just phenomenal - they had everything you can ask for! One of the best breakfast buffets we have had and we have travelled all over the world. We felt spoilt for choice. We loved our stay here and definitely would highly recommend!! Oh and I can’t forget to mention that the location is super convenient surrounding Darling Harbour and Cockle Bay Wharf - had several places to eat and just an overall beautiful atmosphere.

Stayed for 13 days at Hyatt Regency Sydney and had a great overall experience. The room was compact but had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I had a drainage issue in my first room, but the staff handled it promptly and even upgraded me to a room with a lovely view of Darling Harbour – really appreciated that gesture! The location is great – quiet enough to relax, but still just a short walk to the CBD, so it’s super convenient. One small thing to note: no dental kit was provided during my stay, so bring your own just in case. Otherwise, service was excellent and I’d happily stay here again!

My first review on Trip and I don't usually bother to write reviews - shows you how much the hotel impressed me. We stayed for 1 night in Capella Sydney as a family of 3. The hotel facilities were absolutely amazing, decor was gorgeous and food options at Aperture and Brasserie were awesome. However, I won't dwell on these too much as I'm sure when you booked into a Capella brand hotel, you will already assume this as a given right? One highlight in terms of facilities though, was The Living Room, which is assessible to all guests staying in the hotel. It had beverages, snacks, comfy sofas and 6 star service. We spent so much time there chilling with our son and in the end it really became ”our living room”. Enough of that, let me move on to the service which blew our minds. I'll give you a few examples and hopefully you can see why I feel it would be criminal for me not to write a review. 1. On arrival when we got out of our car and the porters were helping us with our luggage, somehow they addressed me by name. Maybe it's because they saw I had a 2 year old and I was the only guest checking in that day with a small child. Still, I was super impressed. I've only experienced this previously at Aman hotels. 2. Upon checking in, Sophie (I hope I got your name right!) was super helpful and cheerful. When she saw my young son, she also proactively asked if we needed a later check out and if our son needed to nap. She immediately offered to give us 2pm late check out. However, having told her our son actually takes his nap at 2pm, she told us to come back and check with the front desk the next day and they can extend it till 4pm. Remember, I didn't request this, she did this completely out of her own initiative. 3. We didn't book dinner and Sophie referred us to Madiha of the Cultural team. Madiha took note of all our requirements, including the need for the restaurant to be 2 year old friendly, and within 15 mins emailed me a full list of restaurants and their menus for me to choose from while she also served us drinks and snacks at the living room. We eventually picked an Italian restaurant and she made the reservation for us. Fyi, it was scrumptious. 4. After breakfast, we were walking around the lobby and my son walked past the cakeshop and saw a raspberry tart. He really wanted it but I told him we just had breakfast. Ton (?)(I hope I got your name right, the Thai gentleman with a love for cars), the manager came up and said ”you can have the tart for free! It's on the house!”. I was stunned. He also spent so much time talking to my son and showing him pictures of cars, unbelievable. Shout out also to Matthew (uncle Hao Jun) for being so warm and hospitable to us. Honestly we were feeling so sad leaving the hotel as everyone felt like friends and family to us. One thing is for sure though, we will be back. Absolutely flawless service, kudos to the Capella Sydney team!

Very good location. Room is very spacious and comfortable. Small tube of dish washing detergent and 2 small packets of milk were provided in the room. Very thoughtful gesture as it saves us short vacation travellers a lot of hassle of buying from supermarket and reduces wastage because we used to buy for just a few days' use and had to throw away big bottles of detergent and milk.

Location was perfect, room is very spacious with a proper work table. The only downside was the flight of stairs at the entrance which is not friendly for heavy luggage. While the staff will lend a hand, still good to have flat ground.

Excellent experience! W Sydney I recently stayed at W Sydney for 6 nights and the overall experience was impeccable. From the moment I arrived, the service staff was very enthusiastic and professional, taking care of every guest in detail and making everyone feel at home. The room design is very modern and has a wide view. The room I stayed in faced the night view of Darling Harbour, and it felt like I was in a painting every night. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was well soundproofed, so I had a very good rest at night. The hotel facilities are also commendable: the infinity pool on the top floor is so amazing that it is a must-visit; the gym is well equipped and the environment is clean and bright. The breakfast is rich in variety, combining Chinese and Western, the ingredients are fresh, and the service is efficient. The location is also excellent, within walking distance to Darling Harbour, Barangaroo and Pitt Street shopping areas, which is very convenient for travel and entertainment. Overall, W Sydney is a high-quality stay experience, highly recommended for travelers who value design, service quality and convenient location. I will definitely choose here next time I come to Sydney!

Great hotel! Location is near train/metro/tram stations, the hotel is clean and the room is very spacious (Tower Deluxe Double - the double bed is quite big for my toddler and I). Honestly the service is not the best, I think the floor managers and service staff need more training especially for Asian customers. I was called “the Asian guys” by the doorman and my friend was treated unfriendly, but he was so polite to white man beside us. Funny.  But otherwise, great stay :)

Great location and overall an amazing stay, but soundproofing could be much better. Take note that there are rooms without the balcony , which I should have asked prior checking in. The hotel is in a fantastic location — very convenient and accessible, which made exploring the area super easy. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. However the housekeeping service, the blanket’s sheets were removed by us but she just left on the floor instead of cleaning it up and the vanity kit was not restored. (I’m not entirely sure how is housekeeping like in AUS, but it’s not the best) That said, the walls are extremely thin, and noise was a consistent issue throughout. You can hear people talking and walking in the hallway, the housekeeping trolley rolling by, and even the closing of nearby doors, which is surprisingly loud and jarring. The other rooms are very close to each other, so you can even hear the other rooms alarm(which kept snoozing 3 times from 7am) the doors do not have a soft close to when it closes it keeps banging— it gets disruptive. If you’re a light sleeper or sensitive to noise, this might be something to keep in mind. But if you’re okay with a bit of background noise, the hotel still offers great value in a prime location. REMEMBER to ask if there’s any renovation works happening prior to booking (we had ours on the last day and the drilling was so loud)

AAmyMaxime, the front desk staff was friendly and  helpful. Recognise me again when we met at the lift the next day. Helpful to advise to deduct the payment from the deposit for the buffet breakfast on the second night, so facilitate me to do express checkout, email me receipt so that it is also environmental friendly and saving time to catch the next morning flight.  Facilities are ok with pool, jacuzzi, steam and sauna (though small pool and close at 8 pm) while gym 7/24 good and many equipment.  room with good view of the opera house.  Breakfast was good with fresh orange juice and many varieties like Parma ham

GGuest UserWe had a wonderful relaxing weekend away at the Crowne Plaza Hawkesbury to celebrate our anniversary. Beautifully renovated historical hotel surrounded by manicured gardens, with the best buffet breakfast in their lovely Gazebo Restaurant. We stayed in the spacious junior suite with a small balcony which had beautiful views of the gardens and the mountains in the distance. Our room also had all the modern tech with the latest gadgets to fully enjoy our stay. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, with a shout out particularly to Paris who gave us excellent local recommendations and was more than happy to answer all our questions. An added bonus was a lovely dessert tray and card for our anniversary that the hotel surprised us with when we came back to our room one evening! Highly recommended.

GGuest UserOur stay at the Rydges Hotel was enjoyable. The location is ideal for accessing local amenities, public transportation, and attractions. We were allowed to check in early because we arrived at 11 a.m. The staff is warm and pleasant, and the check-in and check-out procedures went well. The only negative is that the carpeted floor needs to be thoroughly steam cleaned because it causes itching skin. Other than that, the rooms are large and the bed is comfortable.

GGuest UserThe hotel is conveniently located, close to the beach and a popular coffee shop. The service is good and the food is good. Except for the two rooms where the automatic curtains could not be opened and took a long time to repair (probably because the hotel is not new after all, but it can be seen that the maintenance is quite good), and Ctrip booked the wrong room type, the rest is generally OK. Ctrip booked the wrong room, which is not the hotel's fault, but it does affect the experience. The hotel could not give me the room because the room type I booked was fully booked that day, but the attitude of the front desk to try to solve the issue is quite good. The hotel staff are very nice, so the overall experience is still OK.

JJiangzhedaoziConvenient transportation, petite bourgeois style, and convenient dining.
