The stay was a great disappointment. The basic amenities were not maintained properly. It was winter the temperature was below 10 degrees celsius the living room window latch is faulty resulted in slightly ajar and cold wind leaking into the room we tried to close the door between the living room and bed room to prevent the leaking cold winds blowing into the bed room but too bad the door was faulty it could not close. Few other amenities were faulty the living room TV got no signal and the bed room safe is faulty not able to lock. We reported this and asked for a room change unfortunately they told us the room was fully booked they will have someone to fix the faulty amenities for us. But I got to give credit to them, they did remedy the faulty windows latch and door, also fix the TV signal when we are back in the late evening. Well, it's not the guest responsibilities to pre check the basic amenities and the hotel management should have SOP replacement plan for contingency like this and not have a sellout room. For me I would not stay again for sure. Thanks.

Very cool place to stay Not Car friendly, no real solution for disabled customers staying out of residential building in all reality. Super awesome staff on the front desk, I can’t remember the last time there was 24 hour service desk. I thought service was dead in Australia but at least the kind staff at imagine Marco keep it alive Thanks very much Rick V

This accommodation isn’t exactly a hotel. The building is shared by other tenants. We were upgraded to a 2 bedded apartment on the 36th floor upon check-in, a newly acquired unit by hotel chain that was recently renovated. As we were the first guests to the unit, we felt like guinea pigs test driving the unit. Unfortunately, we encountered some unpleasant incidents. First, my elderly dad got a small gash from the floating kitchen cabinet shortly settling in (as start of cabinet is just after the entrance). A bumper guard at the corner of the cabinet would have prevented this accident. Second, one afternoon when we got back from to find our unit door ajar. Thankfully our belongings were still intact. Third, housekeeping generally poor. No one cleaned the bathroom throughout our 8 days stay and shower trap was choked. Fourth, one of the room’s curtain couldn’t be drawn entirely so we left it closed throughout. However, one day we came back unit to find the room curtain dislodged after house keeping. Fifth, there were no hangers in the wardrobe at all. Only got them 3 days later after haggling with the reception. Lastly, it was a bummer not being able to access Netflix as the connection was down. Unpleasant encounters aside, the unit has a beautiful view and is well contained with fridge, washing/dryer machine, dishwashing machine and cooking utensils. Good for long stay. Its location is near South Melbourne Market and accessible by foot to flinders station and the city. Woolsworth supermarket is just a stone throw away + eateries around the vicinity. On some days you can spot air balloons flying past.

Imagine Marco is located within walking distance of essential amenities like a Woolworths just down the road, as well as a park and basketball court that the kids can enjoy. However, given the typical Melbourne winter weather, it was far too cold to take full advantage of these features. The overall cleanliness of the hotel left much to be desired. Our shower had no door handle on the inside, the floor was dusty, the dining table was unclean with dried sauce splatters, and the balcony door didn’t lock. Additionally, some of the appliances, such as the toaster and kettle, were old and rusty. The pool was also not heated as advertised in the booking details, making it far too cold for a comfortable swim.

The unit is okay for family but strange that it has no phone to call the reception. Housekeeping is not done everyday. We stayed for 4 nights.

I have to make sure telling them to make my bed, otherwise they only come and change the towel

It was 15-20 min walking from CBD, plenty of cafes restaurant and woolies just in front! It definitely needs to be cleaner than this but we didn’t have major problems! Chris was really nice to us.

Decent hotel, with gym and heated pool. 24h reception, thus late check in allowed.

Where do I start… yes it was a long weekend, but not good enough for a 4 star hotel. Here are my reasons  1. It took 1 hour to check in. 2. One lift was only operational.  3. Because there was only one lift it then took another 10-15 wait to get up to room.  4. Finally got to room and 2nd bedroom was locked, leaving us with 2 towels for 3 people. 5. No other way to call reception other than calling the phone number. No one would pick up to try and fix the room. 6. We Decided to go to pool, tried to get the lift and after waiting 15 mins took the fire exit stair well. This is myself and 2 kids!!!   7. Got to pool area and NO towels. We were expected to use the bath towels!! Again not enough towels for 3 people. 8. Check out was 10am and this for the majority of the hotel. Waited for the lifts for 10mins all full because still only ONE lift was operational. THIS IS A FIRE HAZARD 9. Again no choice  but to go down the fire exit stair well with 2 kids and out luggage.  10. Never staying here again !!!!

Walking distance to MCEC - very convenient to the business travellers who attend the national trade fairs.

Everything was clean and comfortable in the apartment. Staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely would go back again.  The pool was perfect temperature and kids really enjoyed their stay.

Amazing place you won't be disappointed

Located at close proximity to Central Melbourne (Uber under 15 minutes). Limited parking and requires early booking, otherwise option for street parking, a very efficient spot for ticket. Efficient receptionist. The location includes long term stay and service apartments so it has many elevators, initially quite confusing. Clean and has all you need.
