"We were given what must have been the oldest room in the hotel (dating back to the 1970s). It was cramped, the floor was extremely dusty, and the bathroom fan only worked briefly when switched on. Breakfast: the selection was very limited, there was no cutlery, the coffee and juice ran out, and there were no eggs (we were told to ask the staff if we wanted one, but there was no staff around). So, if something was missing, we had to go to the office to let them know. The price: far too high for such poor service (€154 for a double room). Furthermore, when we asked about the price, they quoted us the room rate. But when we paid, they suddenly added the tourist tax on top of the room rate, without mentioning it beforehand, let alone how much it was!"

"Great location, great staff, great food. The food is out of this world and so is the beer. I really liked the beef salad with cameralised malts. The Weiss beer was my fave, I thought the breakfast bread was wonderful. This is our second time staying here and will again."
