Admiral Grand Hotel ★★★★★

"Fabulous hotel right on a gorgeous beach. It was really clean and my room had an incredible view. Plenty of sunbeds available and great clean beach towels available daily. When I thought I’d left something behind they double checked the room after I’d left and updated me straightaway. For a solo traveller I was comfortable and Slano is a lovely village too. The only negative was the arrival of flashy cruisers en masse on certain dates but that is beyond the control of the hotel. Great boat trips from Slano also available. Definitely recommend"

Hotel Osmine ★★★★

"Lovely hotel with the only sound being the chirruping of the birds from dawn to dusk. Boat trips organised from the beach to various places. Events every day but never went, so not sure if they were in English. Food was very good with some local dishes and lots of fish. Only negatives were the lack of tea/coffee making facilities in the room and access to tea or coffee limited to the times the restaurants or bars are open. Also, people without car hire found themselves a long way out of Dubrovnik and fairly stranded, with taxis costing a lot."

Apartments Villa Riva ★★★★

"Great place so nicely decorated and lovely area. Comfy beds and nice setting. Must have a car as quite out of the way and minimal restaurants out of season but they were good restaurants. Very good value"
