I chose this hotel in the 1st place was because of its decorations. Looks like the decor is not as impressive as before now. Most of them were removed and was not even replaced again! This particular room that I have gotten was the most plain, and it was so bare without any decorations at all whatsoever! And the service has become super rigid, claiming to follow the rules and regulations strictly always! In the service industry, flexibility is key especially to your regulars! You are only driving them away! 😔

Butternut tree hotel is quite center of Singapore easy access to bus and mrt stations. Pbeat place to stay.

The room is a shoe box, you can hear everything from the front desk, staff make noise all throughout the night and early hours of the morning, no fresh air, bed up against a wall, no room for suit cases.

Cleanliness is bad, toilet bowl still has tissues left over, the floor all over dust.

The location is very good, just 5 minutes away from the subway station. The room is small, but it has everything you need. It is relatively clean. If you like cleanliness, remember to bring your own disposable quilt cover and sheets. There are many bars and restaurants nearby, so it is very convenient to stay here if you travel alone.

The hotel is located in CHINATOWN, there are many Chinese restaurants. The L room we booked is not big and has no windows. The room is generally clean. The front desk does not speak Chinese, but the service is very enthusiastic. The transportation is convenient, the bus stop is very close, and the Wales MRT station on the Brown Line is not far away. There is also a small Indian temple nearby. It is very lively at night, and there are many bars on the street. There is a dessert king with a lot of people. You must try it next time you go. There is a night market street and a Chinese food street not far away. The durian is delicious. There are shopping malls, Ya Kun and Song Fa Bak Kut Teh not far away.

The room was OK, but not very quiet. Convenient for travel, close to the subway station, the city center and Chinatown, and can be reached with little walking.
