What a great stay. What amazing, wonderful and friendly staff assistance and overall ambiance. Had a great breakfast in the courtyard and an excellent nights sleep. The restaurant is great and the overall position of the hotel ideal. Lovely mountain walks and scenery in the area too. Can't wait to return

We stayed at the Willets December 2023 and enjoyed it so much that we booked a return visit. Wow what a disappointment, the hotel has been sold and my does it show, the rooms aren’t as clean as noted previously, the ac/heater just rattled all night with no heat from it at all, the tv didn’t work despite trying. Breakfast was one tea or coffee and a choice one of 5 dishes ie fruit and yogurt, full breakfast etc no fruit juice which we did request and was charged for, no cereal, no toast. It was so disappointing after our previous experience. We spoke to the man on reception who explained that the breakfast restaurant was hired out to Kingsley, a separate business to the hotel. Hence we will not be returning and will be not recommending the Willets to any of our UK friends.

Kingleys Restaurant has been turned into an expensive wine bar with tightly packed tables, expensive drinks and indifferent food. Worth a miss … so many other nice places to eat & drink in Simonstown. It used to be a charming place with pleasant waitrons but the atmosphere has become very commercial

Having stayed there last year and been delighted by the welcome and efficiency I have to say that this year I was a little disappointed. The hotel has a great location and the rooms are well presented. Overall the staff are friendly but the welcome definitely lacks the personal touch. The bar and restaurant were closed by late afternoon on Monday to Wednesday and by 9pm on other nights. Not great if you want an after dinner drink or even dinner in the hotel.

Stayed for 2 nights. Owner was very accommodating with a late check-in, and recommended somewhere to eat after the hotel restaurant had closed. Staff are friendly and obliging. The hotel bar is very nice and reasonably priced. Room was a little tight (one of two attic rooms) but nicely decorated and clean. Location is exceptional - right on the Main Street, a stones throw from the water - within walking distance of shops, restaurants and the little marina.

The Willets Boutique Hotel truly is a wonderful place to stay. The design is cool. The location is perfect : walking distance to trendy local shops, the beach and …the penguins. The staff is professional, very helpful and so friendly. The restaurant is highly recommendable. We are foodies and we really loved the freshness of the ingredients which the chef uses. will we return ? Most definitely ! Thank you!

I recently held a breakfast for 24 family and friends , to celebrate my birthday. We had been drawn to the venue by the stylish but comfortabke look and feel. From the outset, Linelle and her team did everything to make the planning and preparation as smooth as possible. The actual event was truly wonderful : from the country-style table settings, to the prompt friendly service, and the tasty food, all served on hot plates . The fact that guests could order any item from the breakfast menu could have been a challenge for the kitchen but they rose to the challenge, leaving no-one disappointed. The proof of our satisfaction was mirrored by the response of our guests, all of whom only had compliments and kudos for the entire event.

Now this was really one of the nicest places to stay. Everyone was friendly. The room and bathroom were spotless. The bed was very comfortable. It was very convenient to walk down to the dining area for delicious coffee and breakfast in the morning. We would definitely like to go again if the opportunity arises.
