Fizemos o booking no mesmo dia e nos atenderam perfeito. Café da manhã bem servido com comida tradicional, familia muito agradável e sempre ajudando na estadia. Não fomos informados que o ar condicionado era cobrado a mais e foi necessário pagar por tal.

Our hosts went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Restaurants are nearby. It is within walking distance of the rock but our host offered us a lift! Good breakfast included. The accomodation is located at the back of the property so it is away from roadside noise

Great Host,super friendly and helpful.. Located near all attractions and restaurants.. However quite and good value for money.rooms very clean, ceiling fan,air conditioning, mosquito net etc. I wouldn't hesitate staying at Sigiri Rainbow lodge again.

We were supposed to stay in another guesthouse, but it was full. So, the owner recommended another guesthouse Sigiriya Rainbow Lodge. Surath, the owner of the guesthouse warmly welcomed us and showed us the available rooms. The room was simple and comfortable with excellent A/C. Outside the room was a large terrace where we ate a lovely and large breakfast every day. We stayed for four nights at Rainbow Lodge and we did not want to leave. Surath could not do enough for us and made us feel part of his lovely family. Extras: buying us beers to enjoy on the terrace, taking me on his bike to drop off my laundry, dropping us off at the bus station. It was a wonderful experience and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Viajando durante tres meses y eligiendo diferentes lugares para dormir, de todos los que he visitado este lugar merece lo mejor. Un sitio totalmente recomendable, Sarath el anfitrión y su familia te hacen sentir como en casa, la habitación muy limpia y la atención esmerada por los detalles para que no le falte nada al huésped hacen que este lugar sea un paraíso de descanso, un jardín perfecto para relajarte. Con una ubicación perfecta para visitar la roca del león o Lyon Rock, variedad de restaurantes y cafés por todo lado. Definitivamente si vas a Sigiriya deberías elegir Rainbow lodge como lugar de alojamiento y disfrutar de la compañía de Sarath que te aportará información valiosa como habitante local. Gracias por atendernos tan bien.

De eigenaar was heel vriendelijk en heeft ons geholpen met het boeken van safari, hij heeft ons ook gebracht naar de Sunrise bij de Lions rock. Super vriendelijk en behulpzaam dus en een goede locatie! Wanneer je vragen hebt is zijn eigen huisje om de hoek en altijd beschikbaar 😊

Nice accomdation in a good area. Close by some fantastic family restaurants. Very helpful people as well. I got in contact with them when I missed the train stop and ended up at a random train stop 50km away from the accommodation, they gave me some good advice and picked me up from a closer station once I got a train back the correct way.
