I was initially a bit apprehensive about staying at Nanyuan Hotel in Ningbo this time, as many online reviews mentioned it was quite old. However, I learned that the main building had been recently renovated. Upon arrival, the front desk staff – a lady and a gentleman – were incredibly helpful and immediately upgraded my room! The room itself was quite spacious with a lovely view, and I was thoroughly pleased! The following day, a typhoon kept us indoors, so we decided to dine at the hotel restaurant. The food there was surprisingly good! My only minor feedback would be that in the newly renovated bathroom (which features a wet/dry separation), there was no hook or rack near the door to hang clothes, which proved quite inconvenient.

The signal lighting of arriving lift is not conspicuous from where the passenger stand. One has to step backward to see which lift is arriving. 
 
Heated centralised air-conditioning is not suitable for southerner. It dries our nostrils. The best solution is to stay on normal cold setting, we can set 26 or 28°c if one needs the heat.

Very good experience. Clean room and nice view. Also so many places around to visit in the evening. Facilities are limited, but it is understandable for such size of the building. I would say that the quality /price ratio is high. Well done 👍

The hotel service staff are very friendly. The room facilities and equipment are well maintained. It is clean and tidy. The area is large and the stay is very spacious and comfortable. It’s also very convenient for friends to come visit me. It’s cost-effective and highly recommended.

The room was very nice, I really liked the seat of this tea party friend, very elegant, the tea delivered was also very fragrant, really good. The bathroom was clean, there was no door, really, the first time I met a hotel without a door, it was really a bit embarrassing to bring the big baby. Downstairs is still very lively, all kinds of food are available. There is also a rich breakfast, braised pork, braised beef mixed taste as a noodle soup base is really good, the family is very satisfied. A little bit of vomiting, a lot of mosquitoes, into the room to play no less than ten, finally can sleep at ease.

The hotel is very new, but the butler service is very good. I just checked in and there was a problem. Although it was very late, the butler and staff immediately actively helped solve the problem. The hotel's sports facilities are also great, there is a free golf experience, in short, a very good stay!

I've been coming to this hotel almost every year for the past few years, but honestly, it feels like it's been getting worse year after year. If it were just outdated facilities, that would be understandable and not a big deal. However, a decline in service and overall quality is a serious issue for the hotel.

I'm listing these points for both potential guests and the hotel management to consider:

1.  **Bathroom Hygiene:** The bathroom cleaning is far from thorough. In our room, there was a half-eaten biscuit behind the toilet, God knows how long it had been there. What's worse, throughout my multi-day stay, even after housekeeping cleaned the room, the biscuit remained until I checked out. It seems that biscuit has taken up permanent residence in the bathroom.

2.  **Drinking Water:** The Panna bottled water in the room was only provided on the day I checked in. From the second day onwards, it was replaced with generic small plastic bottles. I asked the staff member responsible for restocking water, and the reply was, ”Sorry, sir, we're out of the glass bottled water in our warehouse. Here are a few extra small plastic bottles for you.” And here's the kicker: my family's room, just a few blocks away, *did* have Panna water! How incredibly stingy/lame is that? Or is the hotel trying to tell guests, through a bottle of water, that it's facing a severe economic crisis and lacks the funds to stock Panna water in advance? By the way, for bulk purchases, Panna water probably costs single-digit yuan per bottle, right? If stocking a hundred bottles in advance is too much pressure, maybe just don't provide it at all? Or perhaps the hotel can blame it on a purchasing agent who doesn't understand inventory forecasting.

3.  **Mung Bean Soup Service:** In previous summers, housekeeping would deliver mung bean soup in the afternoon to help guests cool down. This year, it wasn't delivered even once until I checked out, making us assume the hotel had discontinued the service. However, we later heard that guests in other rooms *did* receive the mung bean soup. It's not about whether we got it or not, but rather that the hotel's attitude and internal processes are clearly flawed.

4.  **Buffet Breakfast:** The buffet breakfast selection has become increasingly limited and perfunctory. The most appalling thing is watching staff constantly add ice to the orange juice every morning, making it seem like there's an endless supply (but really just diluting it). Honestly, I could bring my own ice and donate it to the hotel; it's quite a pitiful sight.

5.  **Restaurant Dinner:** Dinner at the restaurant is not cheap, but considering the high transportation costs to this mountaintop location, that's acceptable. It's fine if it's expensive but delicious. But if it's both expensive *and* not good, as a hotel, you really need to reflect on the reasons why. Recall how crowded the dinner restaurant used to be when the hotel first opened. Compared to that, the dwindling number of guests over the years surely points to underlying issues.

6.  **Room Facilities:** Some seriously worn-out facilities in the room should definitely be replaced or at least deep cleaned. Otherwise, the overall guest experience is significantly diminished.

*Throughout the entire hotel, the best service came from a polite and efficient young man with yellow hair who drove the shuttle bus for guests. He was courteous, efficient, and observant – he truly deserves high praise.

The hotel's environment is good, and the surroundings are beautiful. When it was first built, you could tell a lot of thought and effort went into its design. I don't know what happened, but the current operations are genuinely substandard.

This stay completely exceeded my expectations! From the moment we entered, the front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and quickly helped us check in. Manager Pan even proactively told us about nearby restaurants and tourist routes, which was very thoughtful. The room was exceptionally clean and tidy, with excellent natural light; opening the curtains revealed a street view, instantly lifting my spirits. The bedding was soft and comfortable, making me feel right at home, and I slept soundly all night. The bathroom had a well-designed wet and dry separation, and toiletries were readily available. Even the hot water came out quickly, without any waiting. The breakfast selection was exceptionally rich, with both Chinese and Western options; the ingredients were fresh, and the taste was excellent. It's very close to the subway station and shopping malls, making travel and shopping incredibly convenient. Overall, the service and environment were impeccable.

Zhaobaoshan Hotel is a hotel we especially like. Every year we go back to Zhenhai, we have to live here. We have not lived in the first two years. This year, we heard that it has reopened. We quickly booked for two nights. When we checked in, the front desk also warmly upgraded us to a suite. The newly renovated style is fresh and elegant Nordic style, bright and elegant, and the hotel's service is also particularly warm and thoughtful. We will come again next year.

I arrived late yesterday and stayed on the 2nd floor. Don't be too wet. There was a little ink on the sheets. I called the front desk to check and they said it was fine. I couldn't find the comb. I asked them to send it to me. I told them the room number twice and it was still the wrong one. The most interesting thing about the room is that I checked out at 11:50 pm today and called me at 4 pm. I angrily asked why the room card was not refunded. The location is truly excellent. It offers a quiet and relaxing environment, especially ideal for business trips. I sincerely thank the hardworking, helpful, and friendly staff. I felt very comfortable throughout my stay. I will definitely choose this hotel again....

The actual room is exactly the same as the platform picture. In addition to the big bed, the master bedroom also has a single sofa couch and a separate bathroom (Figure 5), and the two bedrooms are a suite public bathroom. The details are very good, the towels and bath towels are fluffy and soft, the mattress is soft and hard, and the duvet is just thick. The breakfast variety is quite rich, and there are freshly cooked noodles in the Ming stall. The service staff is proactive and kind. There is no hotel to choose from in hardware and software, very satisfied.

The hotel is very new and well-equipped. It was very comfortable to stay in and I had a good sleep. However, the delivery robot was a little slow to get up to the upper floors, and the food was cold when it arrived.

The hotel is very new. Although the location is relatively remote, the environment is good and quiet. The rooms are clean and hygienic. The service staff are enthusiastic and considerate. When booking the room, I didn't find that breakfast is not included. The restaurant provides breakfast for a week. Although the breakfast is relatively simple, it is enough. Yes, fruit was given as a gift after check-out.
