Worst decision to stay here! Worst decision to stay here! The decision to celebrate my New Year’s Eve at Chail’s Hamlet property proved to be a profoundly regrettable one. To begin with, the hospitality at check-in was shockingly substandard; not even a solitary glass of water was offered to us upon arrival, let alone the customary welcome drink that one might reasonably expect. Even the most modest accommodations extend the courtesy of drinking water after a taxing journey, yet this establishment failed to meet even that basic standard of service. I specifically selected the “Stone Room,” under the impression that it would offer a unique and distinguished experience. However, I was dismayed to discover that it was, in fact, the most undesirable lodging option available. Positioned directly adjacent to the reception area, the room affords no semblance of privacy whatsoever. The solitary window allows for unrestricted visibility, leaving one feeling perpetually exposed and uncomfortably self-conscious throughout their stay. Additionally, the final half-kilometer approach to the property is in a deplorable state, with a precariously narrow and treacherous road that is not for the faint-hearted. Prospective guests should exercise utmost caution when considering this location. Adding to the confusion, there was a complete lack of discernible dress code for the staff, rendering it nearly impossible to distinguish between employees and fellow guests. This chaotic oversight only compounded the disorganized and unprofessional atmosphere of the establishment. Ultimately, my experience at this property irrevocably marred the celebratory spirit of my New Year’s Eve. I strongly caution against booking the “Stone Room” or even entertaining the idea of staying here if privacy holds any value to you. Although I must acknowledge that the staff displayed kindness and humility in their attempts to rectify the situation, their efforts were, unfortunately, in vain. This ill-fated decision to book this property will remain a regrettable blemish on my holiday experience.

Experienced great hospitality of the staff..very humble & very warm..service was par excellent..very gud food…want to mention especially the personal service of Mr.Rajinder Thakur n Surinder Thakur from F&B. Overall a memorable stay

I booked cottage room for 1 day and for other day I booked premium room, though they have similar view from all the room category but I was not happy with the day 1 cottage as it was just next to the standard category room and on second day also I was given a corner room but after having a long discussion with mR singh he allowed another room Which was better than the corner room, reception team should be trained with better premium customer service skills because if guest is paying a good amount than they have right to expect a premium service. I was told in morning by the reception girl that I will be allotted 105 or 106 but I was given 102 room no and when I told reception manager he said you are mistaken we never advised 105 or 106 and they made me felt like I m lying and when I said i will review this thing so manager said no worries we cannot do anything and than I had to call Mr singh and he alloted another room Food is good, service is good, location is good, view is good I might go again but next time I expect a better room on the upper floor (for premium room category) and the center cottage room if booked for cottage category

I wish to share my wonderful holiday experience of visiting Hamlet Resort, Chail from 2804-010522. After a tiring journey when we reached the resort, it was a relaxing feel to enter the big sized rooms well appointed. We were 03 friends with spouses and took 03 rooms. The resort is situated on hill top giving 360 degree view, one can see lush green mountains and surroundings on all sides The weather was too good at 18 degrees and one could feel little cold All rooms had all essential amenities and mindful efforts to make the stay comfortable, the most I liked was that we could place our 02 suitcases horizontally at most convenient height to operate them without physical bending - something that Senior Citizens / women would appreciate. Balconies were simply huge, we all 07 could sit in balcony on chairs without any inconvenience to each other, have chit-chat at tea and keep the cups on central table. The lush-green mountain view was simply fabulous During my service / personal visits, I don’t remember to have seen such big balcony in hotel / resort. Resort has huge green lawn wherein one can enjoy the evening snacks and drinks. Service is too good and staff is always ready to travel extra mile to comfort the guests. Resort also houses children play area, snooker table and other usual indoor games. Food is too good and staff is ready to cater to your specific needs suiting your taste. Chail also has Kali Ma Hill Top temple called Tibba Temple, A very well built temple of an extremely fine architecture, very neat and clean white marble temple and no one would fall short in appreciating it. For wine lovers, Himanchal Pradesh Miniral Corporation HMPC, fruit wines of 10-14 % alcohol are richly available on route from Solan to Chail. Also fruit juices of superior quality available for purchase. Members may like to drive advantage from my experience.

Nice property among the clouds in Chail surrounded by mountains. Rooms come with nice view. A real nice big lawn with swings to let you immerse in the beauty of the place. Food is OK. Building architecture and interiors are superb.Stayed there only for couple of nights but will definitely go again for longer period. Must visit for people who just want to relax in a nice setting.
