"Arrive after a long road trip. Was shown to our room , which was quite colonial in style . Bathroom was rather dated and required an up grade. But the room was soooo cold. We were given a blow heater, which did not make much difference at all. We requested another one that barely made a difference. On our third day we were given a third heater and the staff checked the double glazed windows. The door was still very drafty. The wi if kept logging out."

The property itself is impeccably maintained, set amidst stunning natural surroundings, and offers a peaceful retreat with breathtaking views. "It wasn’t a holiday, it was an experience! Nestled in midst of one of the densest Cedar forest, Wildflower Hall spoils you with its serene views of Himalayas and Cedar/Pine thickets. It pampers you with “never say no” customer experience. Lavish facilities including Billiards Room, Contemporary well stocked Bar, Temperature controlled indoor swimming pool and temperature controlled open to sky Jacuzzi which again enthralls you with Himalayan views as one takes comfort in 40 Deg jacuzzi whilst temperature outside in 10-12 degrees. Curated treks/picnics, tennis court which converts into ice skating rink in winters, well curated lawns and terrific efficient well-trained staff. For a critique too it’s tough to find faults. A must experience place….Thank you Oberoi Wilflower Hall team for fantastic memories. Already planning winter vacation to experience snow covered White Oberoi Wildflower Hall!"

"Location: roughly 600 mtrs uphill walk from the main road parking complex. Might be difficult for elders and children. However, connected to mall road, so not very difficult to make daily visits to the Christ Church. Staff: Cordial staff, polite and helpful. The service is great as well. Room: Tried both the standard room and the honeymoon suite. Worth the price, with an absolutely amazing view, spacious rooms, and good furnishing. Noise Level: being a little far from the market hub of the mall road, the noise levels are very low, good enough to enjoy morning and evening bird chirpings. The atmosphere is peaceful, and the property is well managed by the staff. Food: Did not book a meal, but had a couple of meals at the hotel. The options are diverse, and the food quality and taste are great. Even though it is close to Mall Road where there are a lot of options, this place can be a good try as well. An absolute YES to book and enjoy the trip to Shimla."
