Staff are nice and friendly. However, location not great, the cleanliness to be improved

I didn't get to stay in the hotel as bumped me out even though I have a confirmed booking. They tried to inform me the day before my arrival but my phone wasn't working. So, I only found out when I reached the hotel. Their reasoning is that the previous guests who booked the entire place decided to extend for another day. They offered me an alternative sister location which they claimed is newer with better sea view. Turned out it was a smaller room with quite run down interior. Nothing like the one I booked on picture. Without much choice, I took the option but with a request to cut short my 2 nights stay to 1 night even though they offered to put me in a better room when I return to my original hotel. They readily agreed. I guess it made commercial sense for them and the staff tried to be helpful, but I find such lack of integrity wanting. Left a bad impression.

The room was super spacious and comfortable. There was no smoke smell and everything was clean. The shower was hot and powerful, and the shampoo and shower gel etc smelt great! The location is very convenient and right opposite the sea/beach which is amazing. Many restaurants and cafes nearby. There is a place nearby to rent moped/scooter so we could ride to the ancient village. We had a wonderful stay for 2 nights!

This hotel was easy to find. Last time I was here, I chose a hotel near an alleyway and wandered around with my large suitcase. 😅 This hotel is right off the main road, with an Instagram-esque decor. Opened a few years ago, the facilities are quite new. The air conditioning in the lobby was comfortable, the front desk lady was very helpful, and check-in was a breeze. 😌 The room was large and spacious, with a 2-meter-long bed that was more than enough for two people. There was also a large bathtub outside the bathroom (but I didn't use it because I was on a tight schedule and didn't soak in it). I was surprised to find that the hotel's rubber slippers in the bathroom can be worn on the beach, which is great for those who can't be bothered to bring slippers. However, be sure to keep them safe, or you'll be charged for them. The beach is right outside the door, really close 😍. It's a bit awkward, though. You have to pay to wash your feet and rinse in the sand afterward. The hotel has a nice area for that, though 🥸 This time, we were exploring the ancient city near the hotel. It was about a 5-minute walk. The area outside the south gate is a bit commercialized 🫠, but there are still plenty of small shops worth browsing. Heading into the north gate, you'll find more residential alleys and a more unique atmosphere. In the evening, we went to a nearby poolside restaurant for dinner. It was also quite Instagrammable and nice, unlike the typical seafood stalls. They also had live music, giving it a more relaxed vibe 😎.

Ambience: Nice [OK][OK], quite unique in this area, and you can see the owner's meticulous attention to detail in the renovation. The first floor is perfect for dining, chatting, and playing with the kids [sunny][sunny]. Facilities: Warm colors throughout, cozy and comfortable. Room: Clean and spacious! The bed isn't right in front of the door, perfectly accommodating two adults and two children. My husband said the shower was very comfortable ☺️☺️. Service: Friendly and attentive front desk staff! 💕💕 Welcoming upon check-in and seeing off upon check-out! Package: Afternoon tea (snacks + lemon tea), plus travel photography, a great experience!

We took our kids to Jiaochangwei for a summer getaway. It was a wonderful experience! ✧٩（ˊωˋ*）و✧! The beach is right outside, so you can swim and do some sea activities. The hostess recommended kayaking, which the kids had a blast! (*^o^*) It's also close to the ancient city. After breakfast at the hotel the next day, we took a ten-minute walk there. It was very nice. [Strong][Strong] The hotel is clean and tidy, and some of the little details are very thoughtful.

The rooms at Tinghai Yuejing are very clean. The rooms with sea views are particularly beautiful. The front and back yards are very spacious and are also very good for team building.

The room size and location are okay, but the cleanliness isn't great. The amenities and service are poor. Service: After booking this room, we requested an extra quilt, which the hotel agreed to. We asked three or four times, but it wasn't provided. Finally, we asked the staff again for a quilt, and they finally gave it to us. There were no disposable slippers in the room, and we had to keep asking the staff before they gave us one. We were given one pair for two people, and only received a second pair after asking again. It was a bit funny. 20-minute beachfront photoshoot experience: We weren't informed of this item. Round-trip tickets for the town sightseeing shuttle bus (four tickets total): We weren't informed either. My friend and I asked, but they only gave us two tickets at a time. Environment: There's no projector. The TV screen flickered when we tried to watch it, and we were told it wasn't working due to moisture. The remote control was also quite dirty. That's it. The service isn't worth the price.
