Grand Skylight Hotels in Shenzhen

The hotel is situated in a convenient location surrounded by good amenities and access to public transport. However, the property is aged and is badly in need of renovation and upgrades. The air-conditioner in my room, in particular, was not functioning at all. I left a message with the reception for the housekeeping to fix it whilst I was on my way out but she conveniently forgot about my request. Upon my return, I was patient to wait for the relevant repair personnel to come by but he was not able to resolve the problem. In the meantime, I discovered there were other problems. The toilet bowl and the air ventilator in the bathroom were also not functioning as well.In the end, they have to offer to change my room. Frankly, the air-conditioner in the ”new” was not great either, but it was still better than that in the first room. Overall, I rate my stay as average as I am willing to give them some benefit of doubt because of the high volume of guests arriving on a weekend.

Great hotel with dedicated staff. At the reception Jin Wang and Wu Shuang, were very professional and very knowledgeable. They made us feel special from the first moment. They gave us a great room with an amazing lake view and complimentary afternoon tea coupons. The room is very large, the bed is very comfortable. The hotel has an excellent architecture it's modern but maintains the Chinese elements. The buffet dinner was excellent with a wide selection of very delicious dishes and desserts. Our overall experience was excellent and we will definitely come back. Thank to it's dedicated staff like Jin Wang and Wu Shuang, 赖加春 who made this stay even more unforgettable. The breakfast is also rich with nice baked goods like croissant, chocolate bread, danish pastries and so on. Cheese selection is also great. We enjoyed the indoor pool as well. The hotel was conveniently located, just a short walk away from the nearest metro station and along the same metro line as some key attractions. Decent food options were located in the area as well. The hotel cleaning staff and receptionists were kind and attentive and helped me out with some of my own logistical issues. Special mention to leo and eva, as well as the staff who provided timely assistance when I required it.

Very nice hotel. Less than 15min walk to Huaqiang Bei or Gangxia Bei Metro station. King bedroom with garden view was really very spacious, spotless clean. Open green view. Overall very good value for money

So far so good with the view, cleanliness. However the light is a little dark than expected in the toilet. Service counter is quick that can cope with my busy schedule. Breakfast has large variety of food though just a few people jn the cafe at around 730am. Food is acceptable so far. It’s a fair stay with this price.

Check-in, service staff attitude is super good, room facilities are complete, the room is also very clean, it is also convenient to order takeout, it can be delivered to the floor.
