Very near to high speed rail station, 10-15mins away by didi. Hotel is new, and is more of a business hotel with a basic gym. They do have a laundry room where you can wash and dry your clothes for free.

Room was clean and quiet
Facilities were new and spotless
Staff were all very friendly, Kiro at reception was very helpful too
Location was a little far from the city centre but it’s easy to get a didi anywhere

My usual stay in Shantou is International Hotel although older but is exceptionally good . This time we decided to try out the newly opened Hampton by Hilton and we were very impressed with its use of latest technology eg : contactless card key which gives direct access to the floor level that one is staying with a swipe of card and prompt response from the housekeeping with the use of robot delivery. The front office staff are very helpful and informative and they helped us to book Didi to our destination when there are no taxis available. The breakfast is varied and good. Of course I still prefer the breakfast at the revolving restaurant on top of International Hotel

My sister in law and I enjoyed our stay! The staff were welcoming and accommodating, assisting us in all our needs and requests. The room was clean and we enjoyed the breakfast spread. The bonus is that there is a very good spa just next to the hotel which was very convenient! Lastly, the location is good as it is accessible to and from the airport. We will be back. Thank you!
