Julaier Hotel (Shantou Mixc High-speed Railway Station)

Big, clean room in a fantastic location. Lots of great food right downstairs with a busy night market vibe. Easy and cheap to get around via Didi. Exceptional value for money. Highly recommend! Will surely be back!

I booked a 3-bedroom stay, and the room was spacious and clean. The air conditioning worked very well, which was great. A big plus was the nearby food street, just 150 meters to the right of the hotel, open after 10 PM—very convenient for late-night snacks. However, I was disappointed that smoking was allowed in the lobby, which created a bad impression. Overall, it was a good stay, but the hotel should enforce a no-smoking policy in common areas. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4/5)

I stayed for 8 nights in the hotel and I’m really surprised by how spacious rooms were that I can even dance in it!! Hotel staff were nice, the cleaning lady was even nicer and always cleaned our room everyday. Food deliveries are super convenient here and safe as they deliver it via the robots (super cute) and the whole room can be controlled by AI (great for lazy people). Location wise it was a good central place near the famous spots in Swatow, food wise not so much choices around the area. The hotel customers staying at the hotel were super noisy, thank god that the rooms were pretty much sound proof. Don’t recommend getting the breakfast at the hotel because it was quite distasteful… Hotel customers were rude and didn’t have etiquette at the dining place so It’s highly recommended to order food delivery for breakfast.
