We stayed at a cosy hotel right in the center of Shangri-La’s ancient town — perfect location for walking around and soaking in the local culture. The place has a Japanese-style or Zen-inspired design, which gave it a very calm and relaxing feel. One thing to note: the room didn’t have air-cond or a fan, and it got a bit stuffy during noon. But after asking at reception, they were really helpful and quickly provided a fan, which made a big difference. They also offered some thoughtful extras like local biscuits and even a portable oxygen can, which was great considering the higher altitude. Overall, it’s a nice spot if you’re looking for a peaceful stay with traditional vibes right in the middle of Shangri-La’s ancient town — just be prepared for warmer afternoons in summer.

The room was incredibly spacious and brightly lit. The owner even thoughtfully provided two complimentary bottles of oxygen. Breakfast was provided at a small eatery right next door, and the claypot yak meat Er'si was absolutely delicious! My only minor concern was that the bathroom lacked a door, making it quite chilly after showering.

This was the most satisfying hotel I've stayed at recently! The room was very spacious, and the price was incredibly reasonable. The owner was super friendly and even gave us a small complimentary gift. The hotel's proximity to the Old Town is a huge plus, and rideshares like Didi can drop you off directly at the entrance, which is incredibly convenient. Highly recommended!

Upon arriving in Shangri-La, I checked into this hotel. I was initially apprehensive about altitude sickness, but the hotel's diffused oxygen system made my stay incredibly comfortable right from the start. The room itself was very cozy. I particularly enjoyed the charming Japanese-style courtyard, a lovely spot for a relaxing cup of tea. Breakfast is also a plus!

The room was fully equipped, featuring a medical-grade diffused oxygen system and portable oxygen tanks, which makes it super convenient whether you're exploring outside or just relaxing in your room. Definitely worth a visit; I'll be choosing this place again next time.

An absolutely flawless five-star experience! From the butler proactively reaching out and arranging a complimentary one-time pick-up/drop-off service, to the thoughtful portable and diffused oxygen supply system in the room, the free high-quality pour-over coffee, the beautiful ambiance (complete with a small courtyard), pristine cleanliness, and incredibly comfortable beds – every single detail reflected meticulous care. This distinctive guesthouse is absolutely worth experiencing, and I'll definitely choose it again on my next visit!

I was thoroughly impressed by the oxygen supply facilities! With both a portable oxygen tank and a room-wide oxygen diffusion system, I felt completely secure and slept soundly even at high altitude. The mattress was perfectly comfortable – just the right firmness – and incredibly relaxing. The guesthouse boasts a strong design aesthetic, and its small courtyard has a truly charming ambiance. The host communicated excellently beforehand, and the transfer arrangements were well-organized (one complimentary pick-up or drop-off service is offered). The cleanliness was impeccable, and the complimentary pour-over coffee was a delightful surprise (requires advance booking). Fantastic value for money!

As it was my first time visiting Shangri-La, I was concerned about altitude sickness. Thankfully, their rooms come with oxygen concentrators and floor heating. They also offer personalized butler service and complimentary station pick-up, which was excellent! The location is superb, right in Dukezong Ancient City. You can easily walk to Moonlight Square and the giant prayer wheel from here. It's incredibly convenient!

The guesthouse host was exceptionally thoughtful; they even turned on the underfloor heating for us ahead of time, which was a lovely and very welcoming gesture! They also offer shuttle service, and for those driving, they can arrange parking in advance. Their recommendations for local eats and attractions were all fantastic and highly curated! We booked a loft unit with two beds on separate levels. Both sleeping areas provided excellent privacy, and there was also a dedicated living room, making it ideal for groups of friends. It was a truly wonderful stay, and I would absolutely choose this guesthouse again if I return to Shangri-La! The guesthouse's interior design and landscaping were also stunning!

It was absolutely perfect. The room was very nice, right in the old town. The guy at the front desk was great and very welcoming. It was clean and tidy.

The room was very clean, large, and had oxygen supply, which is especially important here! The environment of the B&B is very good, and there is also coffee to drink. ☕️The front desk was also very patient and helped to carry the luggage up and down.

Highly recommended! This B&B was easy to find and conveniently located. The room was spacious, with a light aroma upon entering. It also had heated floors and a heating system. The service was excellent, and the owner was very friendly. I even had hand-poured coffee and a whipped coconut latte, and they offered sincere recommendations for nearby food and fun activities. I'll definitely be staying here again next time I visit Shangri-La.

Very satisfied with the stay. It is located in the scenic area, and the location is very convenient. The courtyard in the middle is very beautiful. It is best to book on the first floor so that you don't have to carry luggage.
