I can only repeat what the other reviews are mentioning: it’s clean, got good amenities, but everything seems a bit old. We had some WiFi issues but when it was working it was good. In general, the service wasn’t that great. We arrived tired after a long drive, no help with parking the car or the luggage. Check in was the most rigorous we had, even checking all the flight and train numbers we took. Also didn’t allow us to take a rest first. We went on a hike and wanted to take some Baozi from the breakfast - forbidden (I found that in China this is usually no problem). However, I think for the price it’s fine and while it doesn’t look like it, it’s quite clean. Also the dinner was quite good, breakfast not so much.

Located a little distance from the old-town is perfect for a good night sleep. The room had a magnificent view towards the mountains.  The staff was wonderful and helped us with all our needs and enquiries.  The breakfast was included and had a mix of Western and Asian dishes. We did not visit the gym or swimming pool during our stay. We will choose the hotel again.

The hotel is very strategically located at one of the most scenic area of NapaSea, and is very clean, well kept. The counter service is great too, they even upgraded our rooms to a bigger, scenic room for free!!! And, they provided free shuttle service from the railway station (or can claim back from them by showing the bill). The room itself, has heating service, oxygen supply, and is super roomy and clean. hotel is new. Rooms are large, clean, comfortable and well designed. A New hotel also means some inexperience staff, but everyone tries their best. One downside of the hotels location is the walking path to the old town is quite long as the direct pathway is currently blocked. Hope that changes

We really enjoyed our stay at this place. The view is amazing all around. Our room was beautifully designed, bathroom window facing the snow mountain. The floor heating and fire place makes the whole room warm and cozy. Their property located on a route to the big hike, makes it convenient to check out the mountains and water fall. Super friendly staff, they go above and beyond to meet our needs. Also really loved the breakfast and dinner experience. Home style cooking, eventuating was yummy on the menu. We’ll definitely come back next time we visit Yunnan. This hotel itself is an whole experience to enjoy.

The boss from the Northeast is enthusiastic and interesting. It's very interesting to sit around the table, drink tea, chat and play games. Also comes with ******* costume experience and makeup, nice PS: The recommended toast banquet is average and the performance is OK. Those who are interested in the performance can go there.

The front desk staff are very friendly n helpful. The hotel lobby has the feel of ******* culture , nice & grand . The hotel is located in the ancient town, convenient to walk around to shops n many restaurants . The hotel help us to get their day off Driver to drive us around (a half day trip )with reasonal price . The room is clean n comfortable. with fresh fruits provided too . During night time. (9pm) The staff served the milk to the room too.

The hotel was in the heart of the old town which was very convenient, however, what they offered on the website and what we saw in person were two different images. Our room was far removed from the lobby and in a remote area under construction. We had to request to change rooms to the main building and pay an extra fee of $50. In other words, what they showed on the site did not match reality. The hotel should specify that some rooms are subject to be located far from the main lobby and breakfast lounge and in a seemed abandoned construction. Don't be fooled by the price!
