It looks very new and is very close to the racing track, so the transportation is relatively convenient. It's actually okay to live in, but there are a few small problems
1. At the beginning, I found that the kettle had an obvious odor. Although it was replaced later, it is recommended to check it more.
2. Unidentified hair was found on the bath towel twice.
3. There are actually no anti-fog mirrors and electric shower curtains, but are there switches? And the do not disturb switch doesn't seem to work either.
4. Although the bed is indeed big, it is a bit collapsed when sleeping, and the sound from the end of the bed is obvious.
5. It has just opened, but the signs of aging of the shower head are very obvious. Some holes have water coming out and some don’t. Fortunately, the water pressure is fine.
6. The water in the sink is very slow and easy to accumulate water.
7. There is no prompt to proactively inform WiFi, and the front desk phone has no identification number.
Judging from these, I wonder if it was renovated from other hotels or confinement centers? Can be improved

I want to seriously evaluate the hotel I stayed in this time; the lady at the front desk was really considerate; just like Doraemon; she would try her best to meet any needs; thank the lady for the ginger tea; the hotel environment is also the blue theme I like; the key is that there is a medium-sized shopping center opposite; you can walk to eat and watch movies nearby; the transportation is super convenient; the hotel is owned by Atour, and I like Atour's bedding very much; I also experienced the deep sleep pillow here; it is really comfortable; the hygiene is also very clean; it was a satisfying trip. When I left the hotel, the lady also helped me carry my luggage; she is so kind.

I booked this hotel after reading the reviews. The service was really good. The girl at the front desk helped us change the room to the 3rd floor. The room was not very big, but it was very clean. The bed was a bit low and hard. The TV was very big and comfortable. There is a gym on the ground floor with a total of four treadmills, which is actually enough. The breakfast was very good, with Western and Chinese food. The variety was pretty good, the taste was good, and the fruit was very fresh. It is very cost-effective to have such an experience for more than 300 yuan

Excellent
GGuest UserThe staff is nice and supportive. They create a warm welcome when you enter the entrance. There are a breakfast can be included in the second floor and also the laundry room for free.
there is a shuttle bus for, which can deliver you to the city.
Overall is a nice day at Mercury Hotel in Shanghai, which we love
SSlingerlandI had to move out of my Appartment for construction purposes. The hotel is around the corner of my Appartment.
The room is super small and obviously a little bit bigger space would be welcome.
The scent is nice, but caused allergies around my eyes. SO maybe change the scent and diffuse a natural one in the future
KKhosIt was very worth the for 4 night stay. Breakfast was very excellent, tasty and delicious deserts, you can have any food type, drinks you could get. Service were excellent, such as receptions, they are easy to communicate in English compared to how difficult it can be to understand people at China. The location itself is very perfect. There is a nearby mall only 1 crossroad ahead you can get anything you like at there such as Starbucks, Subway, Pizza hut, KFC, Supermarket, Mcdonalds, and the metro is only few walks away which is SUPER convenient for us to transport. Also if you're visiting the Shanghai Disneyland they will transport you there without any charge. When we arrive in Shanghai again, we will definitely come back next time. Thanks to the staff members for excellent service.
RReiseplanerThis hotel is a gem. The location is perfect (less than a 5 minute walk to the nearest metro station and plenty of coffee and restaurant options in the area; count ~1.5h to and from PVG airport), the room and shared facilities (bonus point for the toilet paper that is better than many 4-star and 5-star hotels) are spotless clean, the bed is comfortable (different pillows are even provided), and the price/value ratio is almost unbeatable. There is even free tea and drinking water available.
Please note that having taken the upper bed window room, packing a bag can be a challenge compared to the lower bed one I imagine. Also, all usb ports available are USB A.
Few points can be improved: the windows let a flow of air coming in even if closed (the duvet is warm though), a little usb bed light would be useful (as it is not convenient to turn off the lights once in bed, have to do it before), the tv didn’t work in my case but that wasn’t an issue for me, the towels are disposable and normal towels would be a huge plus (pack a small towel should you want one), and lastly, whilst there’s no noise permeating in-between rooms, corridor movements can be easily heard (nothing that earplugs cannot solve).
Overall 10/10.
AAmasejThe room is well-equipped and offers stunning views, providing a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The design of the hotel is slightly older, but the room itself is functional and charming.
The pool and whirlpool, are well-maintained and offer a beautiful view, creating a relaxing atmosphere. Both areas are clean and thoughtfully designed. During our visit over Golden Week, the hotel was understandably busy, especially at breakfast. While the service throughout the hotel is professional, English proficiency is limited, except at the front desk, which mirrors the trend in many hotels in the region.
GGuest UserI like this hotel.
It is next to the Huangpu River, suitable for morning and night jogging. From the window, you can see the ships passing by the Huangpu River and a cafe in front.
The front desk staff is smiling and enthusiastic, and the room service is also good. The room layout is practical and the area is suitable for a family of two. The breakfast is complete and nutritious.
It is not far from the West Bund Art Center, a new landmark in Xuhui, and it is smooth to the north along the river. I will consider coming again.
GGuest UserThe room was amazing with a stunning view. On the whole it was a fantastic stay but there were one or two issues- 1. The yoga mats in the gym were filthy. And 2. I was bothered on a few occasions by cleaners or people coming to knock on the door e.g.the cleaner came inside the room even though I said it was too late and I didn't want the room to be cleaned now. It was around 5pm and no one had cleaned the room during the day, but by that time I was ready to relax. There was a language barrier so she just came in and started replacing snacks and drinks and tried to start cleaning up in the bathroom and I had to ask her to leave. I noticed before I left that there was a button for 'do not disturb' but it wasn't obvious so it would be good for the staff to mention that when showing you to your room. I also think it's a good idea for them to have a book with information regarding the restaurant, gym, spa etc.etc. there's some info on the TV but it isn't very detailed.
GGuest UserQuite hard to communicate with the receptionist and staff at the hotel, but some of them were really nice.
Hotel room was small but clean, they change our towel every day.
Breakfast is the same menu for almost everyday, but enough spread from rice, noodles, wonton, bread, coffee.
Location very convenient, near east nanjing road metro station. Close to the bund.
AAnonymous UserCleaness not too good, but the Service from homestay owner is magnificent. Fast response and so kind service....the homestay itself it's quite good and comfortable.it's just on a third floor with stairs, so like me with big and more than one baggage is quite tasking to lift it up to third floor. Location about 300meters from Shanxi South metro station.
GGuest UserWe booked a Parent-Kid Suite, which was advertised to accommodate four adults, but throughout our stay, only three towels were provided. Additionally, the only bathroom is located right next to one of the bedrooms, with no door and a fully transparent shower space. This setup is extremely awkward and inconvenient unless you’re traveling with very young children. The noise from the bathroom also inevitably disturbs whoever is sleeping in that bedroom.
Another disappointment was the check-in process. We arrived at the hotel around 4 PM, but the front desk informed us that our room was still not ready due to a late check-out from the previous guests. This was frustrating, especially after a long flight, as we had expected to check in on time and freshen up immediately.
That said, aside from the strange room layout, the hotel does have its positives. The location is great, with a partial view of The Bund, and the price is reasonable for this area.
Overall, while the hotel has potential, the room design and service need improvement.
