Barbara is super helpful. nice hotel and services! Metro station is just opposite the hotel. Super good location. Room has bath tub and kids really love it. pics are view from hotel room;)

We had a wonderful stay at the Renaissance Shanghai Yu Garden Hotel. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The hotel’s location is incredibly convenient—right beside Yu Garden, with several shopping malls and food stalls nearby, and the metro station just right across the street. Getting around the city was so easy from this central location. What truly made our stay memorable was the excellent service from the staff, especially Ms. Hannie. From the moment we arrived, she went above and beyond to assist us—helping with our itinerary, suggesting great places to visit, and even advising us on all our queries with our trip. Her fluent English was a huge help, as she was the only staff member we encountered who could communicate clearly in English. We truly appreciated her warm and attentive service throughout our stay. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Shanghai!

Located next to Yu Garden. Old hotel, a little worn but rooms are comfortable, although there were a bit of cigarette smell. AC wasn't working very well but overall a comfortable stay. Breakfast was so so, service was great.

We have 3 adults and 2 kids this hotel room is perfect for us. The location is excellent it’s very close to the metro station. It’s walkable distance to the bund (around 15-20 minutes walk).

The receptionist told me that ours room was upgraded. The view is gorgeous(the first two photos are taken from my room) and the location of the hotel is amazing(very close to the bund).

The staff there is friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is convenient. The environment of the guest room is nice. Just one point to be improved is the wifi there is very weak.
